Sure, it will be a complex chop.
Just wondering, you mean a couple inches off the hard top? What would that be for? Is it for a garage or something?

Lots of work, but a coupla inches off the top would be awesome:
Here is what ChatGPT came up with:

Notice it didn’t just chop the roof but also tweaked the grille, bumper, wheels, seat, and fender badge.

Visually I think there is a lot of body already, so I would not be up for chopping the top. Also when off-roading sometimes you get thrown around, so some extra headroom is probably a good thing.

It is a classic way to customize a vehicle to improve its appearance. The top is chopped (lowered) ~ two inches in the picture I opened the thread with. Done properly, this would involve modifications to both the removable top and roll cage.

You spelled ruin wrong.
Ya know I have seen a few lowered and chopped G1s.... they are kind of cool looking. DO NOT want one (I think it ruins their purpose) but other people buy them for other reasons... they are kind of cool. You will never make one "fast". I know guys on here that make them pretty quick but they will never compete with a small coupe or road car in the speed department and cornering?... yea right.

Yes but wait til we start discussing the wing speed of sparrows.... Then....
I agree... the air speed velocity of the African verses the European Swallow is not a discussion to be taken lightly... this is important science for God's sake....!!!!!!!!!!

Watch it, I may just get out my two coconut halves and start banging them together with talk like that.
