Apple CarPlay in Full Screen

How are you guys getting the maps to show in full screen? On my screen after updating gives me the same layout, the only difference is the bar at bottom moves to left side of screen but don't seem to find any way to get maps full screen. Is this only for Apple carplay?

It is only for Apple Carplay, not for the native NAV.

I think it only works for CarPlay, which is all I use.

I use android for personal phone wasn't sure if this was live for both platforms or if it was my update that had gone bad.

Can anyone confirm that since the update, the built-in nav will NOT remember a 2D orientation? Once the car shuts off for 2m, it seems to default back to 3D no matter what I do.

Try selecting CarPlay, then select the two opposing arrows right below the Sync4 clock.
