I think the match is pretty spot on and as close as you’re going to get without going completely custom. I don’t have any closeups, but can take some during the day. Here are some additional photos for reference.

Has anyone gotten a shipping notification lately? I was told last month that mine would ship out right after Thanksgiving. Still nothing.

Anyone having issues with them coming off? Both sides of mine are now losing adhesion on the badge side in different places. If I push on them I got a nice pop sound when it unsticks. Very low mileage and always garaged...

Did you use the adhesion promoter? I used it on one of the badges but not the other. Reason being it made a mess all over the paint and was super hard to clean off getting a rag in between all the intricate cursive letters of the script.

No, but the badge side was already stuck on (as I recall). The Bronco side is sticking nicely...

What do you mean the badge side was already stuck on? Regardless, not using the adhesion promoter may be the problem (even though the instructions say it's optional).

The pre-cut (likely VHB tape) pieces are sticky on both sides, thus having a badge side and a Bronco side. Adhesion promoter probably wouldn't help since the badge side was already stuck on there, unless it could penetrate the tape. It would be best to apply that at the time the badge side was stuck on.

Understood. The adhesion promoter instructions were to apply it to your body paint (Bronco side), so the VHB tape adheres to the clear coat better. Like I said, I used it on one of my badges and it made a mess that was hard to clean off. The other side I did not use the adhesion promoter because of this.

Did yours happen to ship? If not, I can look into it.

Understood. The adhesion promoter instructions were to apply it to your body paint (Bronco side), so the VHB tape adheres to the clear coat better. Adhesion promoter isn't a glue, like you would think. The 'promotion' part of the adhesion is to help push the air bubbles out, between the surface and the 3M VHB, with a thick liquid that doesn't compromise the adhesion of the 3M VHB. So it's still a chemical with some adhesion properties, but it's not the be all end all of the badge sticking or not sticking. I know alot of you are dealing with temperature and humidity issues, so the 3M Adhesive Promoter can only help your install be successful. And yes, it can be a bit messy. I'd suggest, once the badge is pressed on and secured, to wash the area with mild soap to remove excess.

Do you have a picture of these installed? I’m thinking of doing the same colors. Thanks!
