Knob weights. I didnā€™t think about the OEM knob. Iā€™ll try to get that today. Overall weight of the machined knobs will be slightly higher once theyā€™re coated and the OEM shaft to AR adapter is added.

Iā€™m thinking about making the adapter out of different materials to make the weight adjustable. Iā€™ll need to configure it in Solidworks using different metals (aluminum/titanium/steel) and see if it makes enough of a difference.

The stock one canā€™t weigh more than 4-6 oz.

I saw this mentioned somewhere and I never saw anyone chime in.

Whatā€™s the difference between a weighted knob and resting your hand on the shifter? Which for decades was a serious manual driver infraction. I know technology has changed in terms of bushings, etc. - but, Iā€™d be interested in some factual data.

Non-issue. The shifter assembly is not a direct input into the the transmission, like on an old Top Loader. The shifter assembly is that big bulky plastic thing you see in my previous pictures. It's just the shift arm and linkages connecting it to the trans.

I love them both but I really don't think I'll enjoy the feel of white bread. I love the current shifters feel so I think chisel is going to be my cup of coffee. Can't wait to see it in black with white or stainless steel lettering. Hopefully we're close. I'm telling the wife this is my Christmas present. Lol.

EIGHTLUG, do you have any pictures of White Bread or Chisel knob mounted on the stock lockout with your adapter?

That's what I have too, love the white cue-ball with red letters in my Heritage but absolutely hate the adapter. @EIGHTLUG please give me those color options and a better integrated adapter closer to factory height and I'm sold!

Height is near identical to stock. Our adapter is internal, very similar to the stock knob.

Production starts after SEMA. If you want a preorder, let me know.
Nah, I don't do that preorder nonsense, it almost never works out the way everyone wants it to.

I need to see the final product with options and finishes first. I'm hoping for a matte blue (velocity blue-ish) with stainless markings. Haven't decided which shape though.
