I got an update from the AR Pit Crew last Friday saying my order is just a couple weeks out!

I placed my order on April 5th (11+ weeks).

Has anyone tried sanding the power coat off the top instead of paying Archetype $300 to machine it off? I'm wondering how the powder coat will wear and what to do once it starts wearing off. Also what the difference in appearance would be after a few years of use between wear on the post machine surface vs the surface with the powder coat sanded off.

I placed my order on April 5th (11+ weeks).

Ordered March 27th here and just canned email response. When we ordered, they had a 10 week lead time. Tomorrow makes it 13 for us. We will be traveling in August and I really don’t want to have to deal with an issue since we will be out of state for awhile.
