Are some modular bumpers still coming with plastic bash plates?

Are new orders that opted for a modular bumper that are not badlands/wildtrack still coming with plastic bash plates?

I know Ford said they would "fix" that on future orders. Wondering If people are still having issues.

My guess is they will fix it by removing the wording on the sticker saying the Mod comes with steel bash plates and equip them all with plastic. They got caught on the first ones. Just a guess.

Those are my thoughts as well. Guess people that did get plastic ones before/if they change the verbiage can get the dealer to submit a misbuild.

Hopefully people that have taken delivery in the past few weeks can chime in here.

Yea, surprised those trims are singled out and not the others ones like the Base. Mine should be here the end of next month I hope it comes with the steel ones that are listed on my window sticker.

Mine did. 9/2020 Res, 10/21 original order, 9/22 reorder.
Just picked up SAS OBX with Mod Bumper and plastic bash plates. WS has steel on it.
Dealer is escalating to Ford. We'll see what happens.

I got my Bronco in February of this year, It should have had 3 steel bash plates and I only got one for my gas tank. Dealer has been looking into it since February and so far have come up with Nothing!!! I escalated to Ford executive and they have yet to get me an answer either.

Dang, cant recall seeing a Badlands get stuck with plastic bash plates. You have the modular bumper on it, correct?

Yup I sure do! Should have came with Full bash plates

That is the capable bumper not the modular one but my understanding is that should come with the steel bash plates on the the Badlands as well. Hope they get you taken care of with the correct bash plates.

Update: Ford approved the misbuild and the steel plates were installed today.

However, they found a CV boot leak and are blaming the wheels/level that was added. Always something.
