yeah... I'm the other way. This is bluer than I am hoping it really looks. I know colors like this are difficult to photo (Jeep had a horrible time when the 10th Anniversary Rubicon came out getting good shots of the Anvil color, having it shift between grey, bluish and greenish). I hope it's a blue-gray, just less blue that this.

Below are all pre-release photos of the 2013 10A Rubi's in Anvil (likely the same exact Jeep) that we were all using to decide if we wanted to pre-order in that color

I hope not... they already have 2 blue choices and cactus grey seems to lean that way....but nothing green.

Remember when we thought Area 51 was going to be the return of a Cayman Blue / Cayman Green color (basically metallic teal)? I was so ready for that.

I was excited for this color and even a personalized plate on the ready (see below) BUT this thread has shown me that this color is really common and I like to pick colors that are not common. I hope we get to see some real pics soon

I'm a little worried it's more green than I prefer. Aliens are green last time I checked. Some of the renderings support this.

Green is a tricky color on vehicles!

I have this on my wife's F150 but it would be a perfect fit for area51 .... But I am leaning towards CG right now.

The more it leans into the blue range, the more likely I am to consider it.

The more it leans to yet another gray range, the less likely I'll consider it.

If I'm unsure, I have to pass on it.

I think a white roof would really make the blue come out - just like it does on the cactus gray.

Think I'm sticking with Area 51 as it's got a bluish green hue. Want a white top and light colored marine vinyl interior. Prefer light grey, but an off white look and the grey dash color is cool in my eyes.

Think Area 51 will also look good dirty and with scratches. Scratches give character and my truck will have a lot of character after a couple of years out on trails.

Flat paint may be easier to touch up or put an off road wrap over it.

I've been trying to think of vehicles that I've had with flat paint which hasn't been many. I'm not sure if it's easier or harder to touch up flat paint.
