I have a question. Has anyone seen an AUX switch solution. That cam mount where the sunglass holder is. I want to keep the original look ane I don't have up lifters.

Go with a switch module like the Diode Dynamics D switch, or the Garmin Power Switch. I'm going to go with the PowerSwitch personally because I like the Carplay compatibility.

How many lights did you hook up? Can you group the lights too?

Yes we offer a kit here:

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/swarfw...-f-150-2023-ford-super-duty-2021-ford-bronco/

We offer the mount with the Diode Dynamics D-Switch

It has 8 ports + dedicated back-light ports and a button (so you don't waste a port for back-lighting).

You can do whatever you want honestly.

You can connect lights to outputs 1-5 for example and then you can program the buttons to do whatever you want... sooo for example buttons 1-5 each turn on output 1-5 if you want... but then say button 6 turns ALL the outputs on. And then say button 7 STROBES outputs 1 and 4 and maybe button 8 strobes outputs 1 and 2 but then outputs 3 and 4 it does a hazzard flash on.

you basically program via your phone WHAT you want each button to DO. On/Off... momentary, strobe, wig/wag, etc... really neat system.

Grab the mount + switch panel from us via that link above. We have them in stock so they ship out the same day from us.

I'm not promoting or recommending these because I do not have them... but I have been looking at these and similar - there are several on Amazon and other places - and trying to figure out if it is what I want to do. Looks pretty OEM to me. My doubts are the actual connections to the accessory wires. I have not seen anything really clear on that part yet.

I thought this was standard on all Heritages. I guess that didn’t happen until ‘25.

Yeah , I grabbed mine on the lot, could have been a mistake order. I am. Ow leaning towards the Garmin Power Switch. The Android Auto integration is huge plus for me.

honestly you’ll never use any of those weird features - they sound best on paper and even with iPhone control you never end up using them

just press the buttons on the switch - that’s all I ever do

I can see using a phone to control rack lights on my Bronco after I've camped for the evening just like I do with lights in my living room after I'm sitting in a recliner. Using a phone to do anything while driving is just an added complication, fluff added by a marketing department.

The other downside is that these devices require the unit to be HOT all the time (powered up) otherwise the phone can't do anything. Sooo you're going to run the battery dead by having to leave a control unit on just so that you can use your phone.

With the Diode Dynamics D-Switch, you can override this actually.

It has a voltage sensor. So it'll detect if you have power to the truck and when this power is DROPPED, the unit TURNS OFF. This way you don't drain your battery. BUT you can go and OVERRIDE it by pressing a button on the unit and it'll turn itself back on, without having to start the truck.

A nice feature for those times you DO want to turn the controller on, without starting the truck. And it's nice that you don't ALWAYS have to have it on. It's.. well, SMART lol.

You mean like this?

Voltage sensor functionality:
It automatically turns on accessories when it detects a 3.3 V to 18 V signal from a wired control terminal, such as your vehicle's ignition switch.
To protect your vehicle's battery, the PowerSwitch will turn off all outputs automatically if the incoming power drops below 11 V.
When the PowerSwitch detects that the vehicle's battery voltage has risen back above 12 V, it will automatically turn the outputs back on.

Yes. It has both a low voltage trigger built in AND an additional trigger.

Sooo basically if you just wire it up to positive and negative the keypad pulls power. You can turn it off but it will NOT automatically turn itself off when you stop your truck. Now, if it detects the battery drops below a certain point then it will cut power to itself.

The unit has multiple INPUTS. One input can be hooked up to your fuse block with a fuse tap. This way it gets voltage when the truck turns ON. So when you turn your truck OFF, it sees this voltage drop and it will turn the keypad OFF. This way your keypad isn't left on if you forget to turn it off. Great to ensure you don't drain your battery. You can always override this at any time by pressing the power button on the panel itself (unlike say with an Auxbeam, where you can't manually override it).

Additionally the D-Switch has other inputs you can connect to do different things. On my truck I'm actually using one input as a high-beam trigger so that some off-road lights turn on with my high beams.

You could have an actual switch installed somewhere hooked up to that input and when triggered, it does whatever you want. It's a great feature to add in addition to the normal 8+1 outputs you have for things (the +1 is a dedicated backlight button)

The D-Switch is really awesome. There is an indepth video from SEMA on it here:

And as I said, we offer a complete kit with D-Switch and sunglass mount here (this is what I run on my truck): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/swarfw...-f-150-2023-ford-super-duty-2021-ford-bronco/
