The Trigger Control System is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to add AUX switches to your Ford Bronco for several reasons:

Ford Bronco No AUX? NO Problem! Aux Switch Solution- TRIGGER Controller for Ford Bronco bronco_aux_switches_ford_2021

1. Wireless Control & Clean Installation
  • The Trigger System is the only option with wireless control, removing the need to run bulky wiring through your firewall and dashboard.
  • This means no need to drill into your dash or make any permanent modifications to your Bronco.

2. Bluetooth App Control
  • You can control your LED or other accessories through a smartphone app, giving you flexibility beyond just physical switches.
  • The app also allows for dimming, flashing, and strobing effects of your lights on your Bronco.
  • You also get real-time battery voltage monitoring in the App to be sure you don’t get left in the dark!

3. Solid-State Relay System
  • Unlike traditional relays, the Trigger system uses solid-state technology, which is more reliable and eliminates mechanical failure points.
  • Solid State technology also reduces voltage drops and additional wiring complexity.

4. Easy Under-Hood Installation
  • The power module mounts under the hood and connects directly to the battery, simplifying wiring.
  • The kit includes a Bronco-Specific bracket to easily mount the module under the hood using factory hardware.
  • It eliminates the need for multiple individual relays, fuses, and switch wiring running into the cabin.

4. Grab-N-Go Technology
  • Unlike others on the market you can grab your switch panel and use it outside the truck.
  • Convenient magnetic attachments make it easy to take the switches with you and drop back into place.
  • This provides the ultimate convenience when camping and overloading when you need to light the scene without getting in your vehicle.

ooo spiffy.

Reminds me a lot of the Garmin PowerSwitch, but they don't have an external switch option. I guess their app supports CarPlay/Android Auto though, and also integrates with other Garmin devices, but having physical switches is a nice touch.

I do wish there was a device like this for higher-powered devices though. They're both limited to 30 Amp, and many lightbars, compressors, etc. are closer to 40+ Amp.

But really, even if the device did support 40A+ circuits - when you start getting up to the 30A+ current ratings, wouldn't you be better off using a relay and running shorter runs of that high-current wire anyway?

I mean, not like there's a ton of room under the hood of a Bronco to place these devices close to the power source in the first place.

And who wants six runs of 8ga (or even 6ga) wires running all over the place?

See I want to get something like this or the one from IAG or others....then I see people talking like this and realize I have no clue what any of this means haha

I've been eyeballing this since seeing it at SEMA a while ago. Very nice. Many unique features and you guys have done a great job making sure to cover just about any, "I wish it had/would...." objections. It's got it all.

I must confess that I normally shy away from Oracle due to the price point. And while this product too is higher cost than competing products, the gap is not as big as some of your lighting products.

And the unique features you are bringing to the table with this product MORE than make up for the higher price point. It truly is of value.

Outstanding job.

I was the same way back before my first engine fire. Somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd one I figured, "maybe I'd better start reading up on some of this".

I'm still no expert. But I'm buying fewer fire extinguishers than I used to

If you have a compressor we do have an additional relay that will prevent the in-rush start current (can be up to 100A depending on the compressor and piston position on start) from damaging the solid-state system. https://www.oraclelights.com/products/trigger-add-on-relay

Oh I don't disagree at all.

This is largely a "me" problem admittedly... but most of the devices I would want to be switched would be higher-amperage devices. I think ditch lights are really the only thing comfortably sub-30 amp I would install, so the need to add a bunch of relays in addition to this kinda puts a damper on things.

I do appreciate the difficulty though. Devices like this and the Garmin are usually solid-state, and they don't really like current surges like you would find with an air compressor or winch. So admittedly it's not a super easy problem to solve.

The add-on relay that @ORACLE Lighting posted is a good idea for light bars though. Most light bars are right around that 30 Amp mark—usually just below 30 Amps while the alternator is spinning, but they can jump over 30 Amp mark when the engine is off. So having an addon relay like that I think solves the problem for most light bars. Which effectively means you could do all of your lighting with this kit and that add-on relay.

Very cool! This looks like a great option for people without AUX switches!

Maybe you should look into one of these. I bought one. Most expensive extinguisher you can buy if you never have to use it, but probably one of the most economical if you need to use it. It will put out anything, has lifetime warranty, and they prorate refills. Also no messy cleanup after using one like there is with dry chemical extinguishers.

I also like that they put each one in 200 degree water for 30 minutes after filling it. I'm in Phoenix and I wonder about the 120 degree limit you see printed on fire extinguishers. In the Southwest deserts it can hit 150 inside a vehicle in the summer.

damn.... I was just trying to find a simple way to add a strobe effect to chase lights I'm going to install. This system looks nice & clean. It's more than I want to spend just to able to strobe a pair of chase lights, but I'm gonna have to consider it.
