Forgive my dumb question, but is there a good guide for doing just that? Not to mention I went ahead and wired switches 5&6 to be hot at all times.
Yes - it's a fast way to verify which ones are "on."Despite the absurd amount of time I've spent on this site, I had no idea the switches changed colors when activated.
Thanks
Cool, but with them only being a 195 dollar option, the big question is what did you spend to get the parts? The verdict is in:
You CAN add the upfitter switches after the fact.
After installation:
Any chance of us getting a youtube video of this???? I have to do the same thing. My dumbass thought I wouldn't want the switches and now I do....For folks who are going to ask, this was done on a 4 door, 2.3L, non-Sas, soft top, OuterBanks Lux. Your configuration might cause you to need a different harness than what I did, so I recommend getting with your parts guy to confirm which harness is right for you.
I took TONS of pictures and will try to organize them in a more detailed write up on the install. In the simplest of explanation of how do this for those who can't wait.

Shout out to @1Five1 Garage for their video on pulling apart the header panel. It was a huge help to get things started!
Based on his earlier post looks like it's around $585 before tax.Cool, but with them only being a 195 dollar option, the big question is what did you spend to get the parts?
If @RustysBronco doesn't do one we would be willing to dig into it farther then we did before. I am unsure on the addition of the fuse box internals.Any chance

We live in PSL... lol not to far away.If there is a guinea pig who wants to come to Jupiter FL and tear into their Bronco with me while holding a camera, I'm all for it.
I'd definitely be down to come to Florida if I didn't live in Texas and work 60hrs a week.If there is a guinea pig who wants to come to Jupiter FL and tear into their Bronco with me while holding a camera, I'm all for it.
do you have the image handy?Haven't yet as I've been spending all day teaching bank analysts how to model financial protections & working through details on putting together a "little" $3MM image improvement loan for a Hyundai store. Let me me know if you had luck popping the top off. Images show the fusebox assembly is 3 pieces. Bottom, top and the guts. I'm just not sure what are all included in the guts.
