Avoid Oracle Lighting's Flush LED Tail Lights

Knowing they will eventually fail on the new owner I could not, out of clear conscience, sell them to an unsuspecting buyer.

If I were to sell them, I'd certainly be transparent that these are warranty replacements, no further warranty is available or transferable as it's a used set, it is unknown what updates were or were not done by Oracle to prevent future failure, and that it's a gamble as to how long they'd last. How much they may be worth to another Bronco owner like that remains to be seen...

Welp, my second set of Oracle tail lights is starting to go blank on the sides. I only noticed when I was walking away from the Bronco and set the alarm. Got the typical top and bottom dots only.......

Anybody have experience with the typical multi-year protection plans that pop up when going through checkout? Seems like a no-brainer with these. I wish I could go with something else, but the way I have my Jerry Can mounted I can't go back to standard tails.

We totally get where you’re coming from. There were definitely some bumps early on with older batches of our flush-mounted tail lights, but customer feedback really helped us dial things in.

I am having the same issue on my 2023 Bronco. The right side long strip intermittently works. Please replace these under warranty.

I'm happy to report that after reaching back out after Oracle retroactively extended the warranty to 2 years (and then extended it another 4 months to encompass my buy date), they have shipped me a replacement drivers side taillight. I have no idea if there's been any fixes to the issues with these lights. I'll replace this single and if there's another failure, I'll replace the brand altogether.

I was sent a tinted replacement set back in April. They got put aside and forgot about. I decided during the xmas holiday (4 days off work) to paint them. Being tinted and black they just didnt look right. I finally put em in this past weekend. Im very happy with how they turned out. Im just hoping they dont give me problems any time soon.

I went to a local paint shop and had them mix me a rattle can. Used their adhesion promotor and 2k clear. Very happy with how they turned out. I didnt do any sanding or prep just cleaned and cleaned then cleaned some more.

Very nice look with them painted. These are the best looking taillights, just not the best quality.

Last pic says it all. These just complete the rear of the Bronc, shows the body line so much better. The OEM looks like a Lego brick stuck on the back.

Avoid these poorly engineered lights. Mine lasted about 3 years then the top LED strips started to flicker on both sides of my Bronco. If you want to spend $600 every 3 years on replacing your taillight bulbs, go for it. I'm putting stock ones back on.

I reached out to Oracle customer service and same story as other customers they've done wrong: out of warranty, offered a discount, but nothing to make it right or stay behind their product. They basically said what they sent me is a paperweight unless I buy another set. Junk taillights for your Bronco, might as well try eBay brands.

I hear ya loud and clear. I had issues with the outside vertical LED band and have replaced both sides 3x. I have my 4th set arriving shortly. I'm getting good at replacing the taillights without looking at the instructions. However, I'm committed to the sleek style and the product support. You are 100% correct that Oracle has a quality issue with their initial batch runs, but I can't bail on them just yet. Call me stubborn, or stupid if you will, but it's my time and investment nobody else's. Lastly, I have no affiliation with Oracle Lighting.

Sent Oracle a message today. Hope they'll extend my warranty.

I would have anxiety always wondering if my tail lights are working properly or completely out. I went through that annoyance for a short time, then finally opted for OEM leds on my BD.

Follow Up:

I sent Oracle an email with my issue. They replied with the typical response. Standard 2 yr warranty and Im outside of that date by 10 months. Gave me a 15% off code and said I can buy 1 for around $300.
I was polite, but adamant this issue required more customer service and further review. They obliged and have agreed to send a replacement for my single tail light with the issue.

They informed me of some changes on the new production.

" the newest batches of our Bronco tail lights have a slightly more diffused light. This means the LEDs may appear a bit more spread out compared to earlier versions. Additionally, there’s a small difference in the turn signal animation—on this new batch, the running lights will shut off when the turn signal blinks. Please note that these are normal variations and the overall functionality of the lights remains fully operational." -Oracle Tech support.

I asked about the lights looking mismatched. Due to those changes. They offered me a significant discount on a full set. I paid $158 shipped for both replacements.

Very happy with their customer service. Hope this next set last longer than 3 years.
