Well add me to the list of first production Oracle taillight failures. 2.5 years (until a friend following me pointed it out).
I sent you a message - I could use your passenger light.

For everyone following along: Oracle WILL NOT replace your out-of-warranty light. Per DM today,
We can’t authorize a free replacement for a product that’s long out of warranty. If we start making unlimited exceptions like that, it becomes impossible to stay consistent or fair to everyone else in the same situation. The 40% offer is me trying to meet you as far as I realistically can.

I've been very vocal in my distaste for how Oracle is handling this situation with a product that has a known issue. Imagine: Ford makes a faulty part, knows it, and makes the customer pay. Not how things should work.

I'd bet the number of "free replacements" would be in the 10's, maximum. Seems a small price to pay to not have a five page thread about your crappy (but hopefully updated) product.

My son (19 years old) and I have had the same issue with Oracle. They don’t care that the item is faulty with a WELL DOCUMENTED AND KNOWN ISSUE. The response is only that your item was a gift to him and the warranty is non-transferable and that it is outside of the one year warranty timeframe.
They were so kind to offer me the option to BUY (and not with a 40% discount as mentioned above) the one replacement light instead of a full set.

A stand up company that truly cared about it’s customers and building repeat customers would find a way to correct this issue as it is so well known (as mentioned above).

When I ordered mine a buddy warned me. They failed shortly out of warranty and when I called they offered to sell me 1 single. 2 weeks later the other went out so I tossed them. I posted way back in the beginning of this thread and they actually sent me a replacement set back in April but I havent got around to installing them.

I'm not sure one company is any better or worse than another. It's all about profits. I bought some LED signal lights from one of the "better known" accessory suppliers for a Jeep that I had. One failed about two days out of warranty and they basically said "huh, that's a shame." Only recourse (for me anyway) is I don't buy from them anymore. I'm sure they won't go out of business because of me but if you do it to enough people... well, let's just say that would be a shame.

Welcome to the club, for some reason it always seems to be the driver's side that goes bad.
I need a passenger side if anyone has one of those that is working properly.
Oracle gave me all the reasons as to why they won’t do the right thing so looks like I’m on my own unless I want to buy one from them.

I'm not trying to defend Oracle but for those that are saying about not replacing them when it is a "known issue" I draw your attention to the MIC top built by a company to Ford spec. Ford KNOWS it is an issue, they have replaced thousands, some customers on their 3rd or 4th one. But have they done ANYTHING other than replace it??? They are just waiting for the 3 year warranty run out, so they do not have to replace it anymore. Or maybe thinking people will not notice that their top is cracking. When the warranty is up what will Ford say??? Sorry, no warranty, then you are buying one out of pocket.

To me this is the same situation. At least Oracle is offering some money off, Ford would make you pay full price. Just how I see it.

In case you were wondering........Yes, I have had my 1st MIC top replaced for cracking and now my 2nd one is cracking. My warranty runs out in March of '26. Then what is a 2dr guy supposed to do???? Buy another MIC???? Maybe one of the new painted tops???? or maybe an Armadillo????? (personally, not a fan).

Where you located? I'm in Chicago area. My driver side is toast, but passenger side is good (so far). I removed and replaced with a generic set off eBay yesterday after not getting anywhere with Oracle. Resistor doesn't show any corrosion. Pics from yesterday showing the passenger side is working, and compared to new set. Also, mine are the tinted all black version.

Also a driver failure a couple weeks ago, after 15 months. Oracle offered 15% off 1 light ($46 discount, tax and shipping still extra). I asked what has been fixed so I'm not throwing more money at something that would fail again. They said there are NO issues with Bronco lights, and it was a Jeep Gladiator that had a bad batch. See email from them. Unreal, as if they aren't aware of all the problems.

New $70 full set of LED lights (for halogen Broncos) from eBay are now installed. They fit well, and work fine, so far anyway. Even if they fail every 12 months, I'll still be far better off than having anything from Oracle ever again. Lesson learned, but it's a shame as I like the Oracle design.

Funny that they reply every other post in their Fog Light sale post, but only pop in here when tagged.

It's really a shame because they look great and really serve a purpose being flush. I have a pair sitting on the shelf, I had mine for about a year before the drivers side started to go, Oracle was kind and sent me a replacement free of charge even though the warranty was up. Trouble is I already had replaced them back to OEM and honestly thinking of the hassle swapping them back out again with the more than likely possibility of it happening again keeps them on the shelf.

I would never buy an Oracle product after reading about all of the quality control issues with their products here. I came very close to buying the integrated roof lightbar and also the flush tail lights. Each time I looked into them the reviews are terrible. It's too bad because they have a lot of innovative and well designed products, but I don't want the quality control hassle. Even if they do sometimes replace the items under warranty, I don't want to have to keep replacing them.

Hey everyone, we appreciate you bringing your experiences to the community and giving us the opportunity to address them directly.

At Oracle Lighting, we monitor product performance closely, and we recently conducted an internal review of the Bronco taillight line. While the overall rate of issues reported is very low relative to total production, even a small number of customers experiencing concerns shortly after the one-year mark does not align with the standard we set for ourselves.

Because of that, we are taking immediate action. Effective today, we have extended the warranty on all Oracle Bronco Taillights from one year to two years. This includes purchases made after November 2023, 2024, and 2025.

This update applies moving forward and ensures that every customer has the additional peace of mind they deserve. Our goal is not just to deliver high-performance lighting solutions, but to stand behind them with support that reflects our commitment to the enthusiast community.

We want to emphasize:
  • The taillights continue to perform extremely well across the vast majority of units in the field.
  • We remain fully confident in the durability, functionality, and long-term performance of this product line.
If anyone here is experiencing an issue, or even just has a question, our team is here to help. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] or open a ticket on our website so we can assist right away.

Thank you for your feedback, your trust, and your passion for the Bronco community. We’re committed to supporting you every step of the way.
