My son (19 years old) and I have had the same issue with Oracle. They don’t care that the item is faulty with a WELL DOCUMENTED AND KNOWN ISSUE. The response is only that your item was a gift to him and the warranty is non-transferable and that it is outside of the one year warranty timeframe. For everyone following along: Oracle WILL NOT replace your out-of-warranty light. Per DM today,
We can’t authorize a free replacement for a product that’s long out of warranty. If we start making unlimited exceptions like that, it becomes impossible to stay consistent or fair to everyone else in the same situation. The 40% offer is me trying to meet you as far as I realistically can.
I've been very vocal in my distaste for how Oracle is handling this situation with a product that has a known issue. Imagine: Ford makes a faulty part, knows it, and makes the customer pay. Not how things should work.
I'd bet the number of "free replacements" would be in the 10's, maximum. Seems a small price to pay to not have a five page thread about your crappy (but hopefully updated) product.

I need a passenger side if anyone has one of those that is working properly.Welcome to the club, for some reason it always seems to be the driver's side that goes bad.

Thank but I need the red version (I should have specified that in advance).Where you located? I'm in Chicago area. My driver side is toast, but passenger side is good (so far). I removed and replaced with a generic set off eBay yesterday after not getting anywhere with Oracle. Resistor doesn't show any corrosion. Pics from yesterday showing the passenger side is working, and compared to new set. Also, mine are the tinted all black version.

While that sounds great - will it actually help any of us that currently have issues / have been told “sorry there’s nothing that Oracle can do due to ……”?Hey everyone, we appreciate you bringing your experiences to the community and giving us the opportunity to address them directly.
At Oracle Lighting, we monitor product performance closely, and we recently conducted an internal review of the Bronco taillight line. While the overall rate of issues reported is very low relative to total production, even a small number of customers experiencing concerns shortly after the one-year mark does not align with the standard we set for ourselves.
Because of that, we are taking immediate action. Effective today, we have extended the warranty on all Oracle Bronco Taillights from one year to two years. This includes purchases made after November 2023, 2024, and 2025.
This update applies moving forward and ensures that every customer has the additional peace of mind they deserve. Our goal is not just to deliver high-performance lighting solutions, but to stand behind them with support that reflects our commitment to the enthusiast community.
We want to emphasize:
If anyone here is experiencing an issue, or even just has a question, our team is here to help. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] or open a ticket on our website so we can assist right away.
- The taillights continue to perform extremely well across the vast majority of units in the field.
- We remain fully confident in the durability, functionality, and long-term performance of this product line.
Thank you for your feedback, your trust, and your passion for the Bronco community. We’re committed to supporting you every step of the way.
— Oracle Lighting Team
We definitely want to make sure you’re taken care of under the updated policy. The best next step is to have our support team take a fresh look at your son’s taillight issue with the new two-year warranty in place. They’ll be able to review the situation directly and see what can be done. In most cases we just need some form of purchase or verification so we can properly connect the claim to the product, and they can walk you through all the available options. While that sounds great - will it actually help any of us that currently have issues / have been told “sorry there’s nothing that Oracle can do due to ……”?
All I’m asking for is a replacement for my son’s faulty passenger side light. But because it was a gift to him I was told that the warranty is non-transferable and everything else to get out of standing behind the product.
Simple request sound equal a simple answer / replacement - not the constant run-around as to why Oracle cannot / does not feel responsible to correct it.
