From what I've read, scuffs happen when the top is not pulled perfectly straight back. I don't have a "soft top assistant" so keeping the soft top square with one person is a challenge. When it's not 105 degrees outside, I'm going to explore the possibility of attaching a yoke to the front of the top that has a center connection. Then with the use of a "gin pole" to assist, get the top to come straight back. Thoughts?

I've found a good way is retract to the first position, unlatch, and move it partially backward but not so far that it collapses on its own. Then move to the rear of the bronco and open the tailgate, you should be able to reach up and grab the center of the back of the top and pull it the rest of the way down fully centered.

The little felt pads adhered to mine seem to be moving on their own, and leaving some kind of adhesive residue on my roll bars. I'm going to clean that off this weekend, apply some touch up paint, and then apply the paint protection film that IAG shipped to me with ez-lift kit.

PFF, which can't really be put on very well...ask me how I know...

And @Mabett is about to release something to cover the bars.

Yeah, I looked at those curved pieces and was like... oh boy, i'm sure that'll go on straight the first time.

That's been my only issue but it rubs right off. Otherwise, no problem with scratches ever lowering the top by myself.

I tried the curved protectors from Sticker Fab and completely mangled the stickers. Which is a shame as they were really nice.

I went to a small piece of PPF in the critical area that I pre-cut prior to putting on.

I’ve put mine down quite a few times and have always been really careful when doing so but got my first gash last week. Put a little touch up paint on it for now but I believe there’s an active TSB for it where they’ll fix/adjust. Need to get that looked at along with my rattling windows
