Only problem with the soundbar is that the view from the rear is already small and limited. I cant imagine the sound bar making it any easier to see. Im pretty sure the sound bar is intended for when you're parked at a beach or something. Not sure though

I also fear that this could be an easily stolen item if you regularly park with the roof off.

So I'm probably going to replace all with aftermarket speakers (probably Rockford fosgates) & upgrade the kick panels to 6x9's at some point. This is information I've wanted for awhile, thanks!

I was thinking the dash was going to end up in the 4in realm. I am sad to see the back pods are also 4in...was hoping for a 5.25.

Will probably end up with some component 6.5 for the lower panel and put a remote tweeter someplace decent and swap out the 4in on the dash with something decent. The back pods would still like to put a 5.25 in one if possible otherwise not sure as I don't really want to look at new pods too.

question for the car audio guys - LUX / B&O or aftermarket?
better sound is the only reason I'm considering LUX but doesn't seem worth it

I'm assuming, and what I've read in other threads, for the $ a much better aftermarket system can be installed
ergo, additional & better speakers, amp and sub that don't take a lot of space and look just as good as factory?

I wasn’t able to hear the audio of the stock system, but I was very impressed with the B&O in the Broncos I saw. I love music and jam loud and hard, but I’m not one of these audio guys that want to spend a whole lot of time and money changing stuff and evaluating brands, tweeters, sizes, amps, subs etc. To me, the B&O was impressed and exceeded my expectations. Again, couldn’t compare to the standard stock system but I got excited when I heard the B&O.

In other news, the kick panel location has a cutout in the sheetmetal for a 6.5" round. Are you planning on cutting the sheetmetal to fit a 6x9?

Nice editing of my post I see. Yes, Rockford fosgate, or B2 audio.
