I am working on a design to solve the backseat cup holder dilemma many of us are facing with MGV and cloth. Although there are other options on Amazon for purchase, I rather design one that fits our needs more closely then the ones I am finding online.

With that being said, I am looking to get more information from the mass to determine my path, if you have a moment would you please give your input.

Adjustable but no removable items would be my preference.

No matter what, make it deep, so taller double walled insulated bottles like YETI and others don't fall out while wheeling. A free tip, make it deep and include a spacer in case someone wants the tube shallower. An extra $3 in material. Everyone happy.

never understood the passion for cupholders some of you have. In my K900 my front cupholders spent 99.9% of their driving time closed over, and the rear cupholders only came out of the rear center console once when I was going to pick up buddies for a road trip.

Maybe you guys have older kids than I do, because I wouldn't trust my son with spillable liquid so his rear cupholder (i ordered a 2door) will remain empty.
