My wife has a fully loaded 2018 VW Tiguan R-Line and it cost her $48,000 CAD, the base Bronco is $40,500 CAD with no add ons. I told my wife at $53,000 CAD for the Badlands I get almost everything I want out of the new Bronco. Sasquatch package, 2.7L with auto and I am a happy man. Expecting it to be around $70,000 CAD all said and done. My wife is blown away that the Badlands is that expensive and it's not fully loaded. She's a city girl, doesn't understand me wanting a rugged vehicle like this for a new vehicle. It is what it is.

I don’t care about the 35” tires. I’ll go to 37 either way so the Badlands is a perfect start. Can swap the fenders in five minutes so the Sasquatch would be a complete waste of money. Aftermarket will provide an upgraded suspension setup

I find it more than a little annoying that the Badlands comes with just the "standard" package...
Taking the Lux option is gonna hurt.
What’s the consensus for what the Lux will will run us?

My current plan is 4 door BL, 2.7/10spd, Lux package, hardtop, 4.7 (if I can get a la carte).

My wife’s Ascent has adaptive cruise and it is a game changer for any real length of time spent on a highway or freeway. Lux appears to be only way to get a BL with adaptive cruise. Everything else in that package isn’t worth it for me.

I’d be ecstatic if I can get out of the dealer for $55k.

I’m really liking the lux pkg as well...
Hoping to get 4dr BL, 2.3 MT, Lux and Hardtop for ~ $50k
Fingers crossed!
I’d be happy with that setup I think.

I did a search through this thread and didn't see this brought up yet....but any idea if they're changing the Badlands badge/logo? I say this photo in an Area 51 thread and it was taken right off a Bronco Sport spotted in the wild. Ford's Bronco Sport website shows the same canyon badge as the Bronco, yet this one is rocking something completely different. Thoughts?

The Bronco & Bronco Sport have different Badlands badges/logos.
The one that you posted is the Bronco Sport's.

I thought that might be the case but this photo is pulled from Ford's website...Bronco Sport with very clearly the same badge as the Bronco. I haven't seen the skull ANYWHERE.

I like the skull. Not enough to get a Sport, but I wouldn't mind if the badge for the Badlands looked like that

So I've been doing some comparing, trying to figure out whether I wanted to go with a badlands or a squatched black diamond. It appears to me to be a no brainers when you look at how much you get vs dollars spent. You get

Bilstein suspension
The higher end transfer case
Front locker (bd only has rear I think)
Stabilizer disco
Signature led lights
High level instrument panel
33s

And the ability to get packages and add ons not available to black diamond.

All for 6k in price difference? Am I missing something? Any other features that people have noticed that one gets, and not the other?

That is the exact package I am putting together and I fully expect it to be every bit of $60,000 (with Squatch)
