Man... This pricing sheet has REALLY gotten me second guessing my Badlands love. Convince me I'm wrong fellow badlanders!
BL perks: Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect, Electronic Locking Front and Rear Axle, Automatic On-Demand 4X4, Lux Package is available, you get 33” BFG A/T Tires, Washout Interior with Active Drain Plug, Marine Grade Vinyl Seats...

Dude. This is the best bang for the buck, IMHO. Especially if you stay with the 2-Door 2.3, MT and stock 33’s.

Yeah... But... I'm 4 door (It's closer in size to my 96), 2.7 Auto (Wife can't drive a stick and I plan to stay married), and thinking about going 35s....

I love the idea of the Badlands. If there is an affordable way to factory get the lift and 35s without getting the Sasquatch I'm probably still in, I don't need Trail Cruise control...

The difference between the BD and the BL seems to be the FSB disconnect, locking front axle, automatic On-Demand 4x4, and LT285 instead of LT265 tires.

It‘s hard to see $6K of value for those 4 items.

you left out the included upgraded suspension, access to High and Lux packages and the Modular Hard Top but I agree with your point.

Plus the Bilsteins, the signature grille, wheels instead of steelies, think there was uprated display in there somewhere too sure I'm missing a few other things.

Even after seeing the $5K price tag for Lux I’m all in for that with my Badlands 2.3 + 7MT and Tow. I’ll get into it for right about $45K w/ my Z Plan. The fact that BL comes stock with 33” BFG A/T’s is icing on the cake. Love those tires.
Won’t swap for 35 if given the option?

4Runner Off-Road Premium or 4Runner TRD Pro are my primary backup plan if a true dealbreaker rears its head on the Bronco. Or if I cheap out (a more likely scenario lol).

Defender 110 was up there on the list...But I drove one last week and I didn't feel it. Bronco pricing for what I'd buy is rapidly encroaching on Rivian territory as well.

FYI, 6th Gen 4Runner is due for 2022, and Toyota usually drops all their information around February/March. So in theory, you'll have plenty of time to make up your mind on 5th Gen 4Runner, 6th Gen 4Runner, or 6th Gen Bronco.
Nope.

I love my FJ and it has given me 0 problems in 13 yrs and 200,000 miles of rough use.

That being said, I know if I bought a 4-Runner, I’d kick myself in the head every time I saw a Bronco.

Man, I was so pissed when Toyota came out with the FJ. I was part of the Ih8mud group that Toyota pinged about how to do a throw back to the FJ40. And all they did was give it a white top and a FJesque bezel. I have been a cruiser head since I was 14 (I'm 38 now). Now ICON got the throw back FJ40 right with. Too bad its an $80k vehicle lol.

But thanks to the great design of the 2021 Bronco I am extactic to give Ford my money. They did it right with the retro styling, and off-road capability. IMO Ford knocked it out of the park especially with the BL. Everything I want and need for a truck that will take me every where I want and will keep for the next 30 years.

I don't think so. I'm nowhere near the kind of terrain where those would be the right choice. And, I really dig the BFG A/T’s. 33 is a sweet spot for me. My Bronco will be more of a beach cruiser than a rock climber and I'm good with that.

Me either but the 35s look damn sexy. Don’t know if I’ll run the 33s out or swap to 35 off the bat.

Based on what we know about pricing , My 4 door 2.3 Manual Badlands at Invoice pricing with Mid package, Hardtop, Tow and Roof rack comes out to $53k with tax? ....going 2.7 Auto and Squatch and a higher package makes this a $60k Bronco. I’m Starting looking at BD or even base at this point.
