If that survey holds true that the HD modular bumper is an option on Badlands, then I wonder if the plastic bumper with the LED Fogs is also an option? (Hopeful)

On the lineup comparison .pdf it had the HD modular bumper as standard on Badlands

Can someone post a side by side picture of the Bronco with 35s and the Bronco with 33s? I mean how noticeable is the difference. I'm rarely going to go off-roading with it (maybe a couple times a year). But I do a lot of hiking, mountain driving etc., so I want the truck to look as cool as possible (haha) without it being a nuisance with tire noise, etc.

I'm just debating whether Sasquatch is package is cool enough looking vs the non-Sasquatch. The price difference really isn't an issue for me. It just comes down to whether Im going to get annoyed after 2 years with the noise (if thats even an issue?).

I'm with you, everyone is going to be making the best choice for them and so far mine is the BL based on what it already has equipped. IMO the Sasquatch package doesn't make sense on the BL since you already have the Bilstein's and 33's plus all the other add-on's. Am I going to rock crawl? nope, probably never but I want the suspension package with the smaller tires, the signature grille and I'll add the mid package, the optional wheels (not the Sas ones), probably the modular top and will be keeping the 2.3 and 7-speed. This in my reasoning puts me where I want to be in price and far exceeds the capabilities I need in my normal driving. Now if I was a hard core offroader, then Base or BD and wouldn't worry about the Sas either because yes, the aftermarket will provide lifts, suspension, wheels/tires, etc with even more capability so there really is no need to pay twice for parts to get the job done your way or for parts you don't need.

I'd seriously look at everything offered out there for Wrangler to make your shopping list vice the Ford page and if it's something you want on your future Bronco then start a savings account because it'll be available soon after they go on sale. Once again, IMO, I think Ford did a decent job with the packages, are they perfect? nope, but they give everyone an option at their perfect baseline to build on.

And the 4.7 gearing also goes into the cost of sasquatch. The only way you get 4.7 is with the manual, otherwise you have to go sasquatch.
Small lifts and bigger tires are easy to add later. 4.7 gearing is not.
The 4.7 is one of the most important for me.

Not sure what I’ll do but the ride is what has me thinking. Do the KO2 AT even come in 35s?
Yes, there are 3 35" versions for 17" wheels. In 315/70R/17 there's both a C and an E rated tire and there's an E rated 35x12.5R17.

You didn't specify 2 or 4 door but a good comparison on both is to use the colorizer on the Ford site, the 2 door is BL on 33´s with the optional wheels and the 4 door is WT which comes with the Sasquatch package. Outside of that you can go to the discussion that had the ride alongs, lots of videos of both.

Four door. But you covered both so I'm going to check it out shortly. Any thoughts on the rest of my post?

It's your call, imo the 33's are plenty and if you're getting the BL then you'll be saving $2500 and getting the same suspension so if you're not satisfied you can use that savings to upgrade to 35s of your choosing.

You will be able to choose your gearing separately.

Great thread ... really informative.

Have reserved an Outer Banks but, the more I read here, will be changing to Badlands.

Want the front/rear lockers, sway bar disconnect, etc. but am not interested in the 35" tires in the Sasquatch package.

Subject to the B&P ever being released, here is what I'm looking at:

2.7L
High package
Roof rack w/ rails and crossbars

Total of $48,695 before charges for delivery, tax/tag/title, etc.

If this was already mentioned then sorry... didn’t have time to read through the 40 pages of this thread.

One factor that I’ve been thinking about is resale. I know wranglers hold their value well. But would a stock badlands hold its value better than a modded BD? I’d rather pay more up front and not spend money on mods and be able to get out of it without losing abunch of cash if I end up not absolutely loving it
I have owned several modified vehicles that I modified from stock. GT500, 04 Cobra, 17 GTR. In every case the return on the mods were at best pennies on the dollar and in some cases negative. My 04 cobra would have brought more money being stock. In the end though I buy vehicles for my enjoyment and not ROI.

But to answer your question, you will be better off financially having the upgrades from the factory as opposed from the aftermarket. You just need to decide how important that is to you.

Enjoy your new Bronco when it arrives.
