Looking at a base sasquatch or a standard badlands for 2026 .Is one better than the other?

Pretty equal, if you get the auto transmission, the non-sas Badlands has 4.46 gearing instead of 4.7. So the Base Sas would have slightly better gearing for 35's. With the Manual trans, it's the same gearing. The Base Sas wheels have a different off-set for 35's, and wider fender flares to match.

The Badlands has more out of the box trail armor, if that’s important. And Badlands can be also be had with more options, like the lux package, MGV seats, painted roof, Hoss 3.0, etc, but now you’re getting spendy.

Badlands Sas....Win win!

IMHO, The BL package is amazing in itself, and do you better in the long run.
The Sasquatch is definitely bonus.

No the non-sas Badlands suspension itself. The Badlands suspension lift a Bronco .6 inches the Sas suspension lifts 1.1 inches. Also the Badlands suspension has a 1/2" more travel than the Sas suspension.

Does the base still come with a rubber steering wheel? Molle panel seat backs on Badlands were standard on my 22. Not sure about a base. Don’t forget the Badlands comes with a cooler sticker in my opinion.

It's almost the same suspension - Sasquatch gets a slightly extended bumpstop to limit the uptravel to accomodate the 35" tires - a factory Badlands will absolutely stuff that 33" into the fender.
