Really? I actually was able to get BB and OBX close but BD always came in higher.

I had similar with mid package. OB has all that stuff standard so it helped with cost. Just don’t want 18” wheels

Wondering if I can get some advice instead of snarky comments which have been popping up lately in a lot of threads

- want 17” wheels not 18
- want minimum 32” tires
- will be doing light off-roading
- will be my daily driver
- want auto start, keyless entry
- want heated seats
- want 2.7 Auto transmission
- want advanced 4x4

which trim gives me biggest bang for buck???

You have an almost identical list of wants as I do. I bounced between BB and OBX for weeks. Finally settled on BB with mid package and Sasquatch. Sasquatch primarily to get the advanced 4wd. I feel like it has more bang for the buck than the OBX where I believe you are paying a premium for 18" wheels, painted flares, door handles and mirrors as well as the interior.

I went from outer banks to big bend for the same reasons. I should of never read this post. Now i want the advanced 4X4. I was trying to keep my cost under 45. We have until March 19th to decide.

My game plan was,
I'm going after market wheels tires and lift kit after 3 years. Buying and paying for the parts as { get there.
But the advanced system setting is irreplaceable ! I hadn't thought of that.

Based on the two stated objectives, this answers your question. If Advanced 4x4 is a priority and you're not going SAS then OBX is your build.

You can change wheels, you cannot add Advanced 4x4 later. You won't notice the difference between 17 or 18" rims with a similar overall tire diameter (at least in my opinion). I agree the 17's look better but for what you really want vs. what you don't want, the 4x4 wins out (at least for me).

For me, I didn't want OBX or SAS so BD was the obvious choice (at least until I switch to BL).
