So a couple of my bumper pod mounted BD lights of a “six pack fog light setup” are not turning on (one light on outside of one side and one middle light of opposite side). Less than a year old, bought new.

I wiggle the wire going into the lights and they turn on. One light seems worse than other by never turning on while other light does it sometimes.

Anyone else run across this ?? Any fix outside replacing ??

Annoying after blowing the cash and installing what supposedly is a top light company product.

I'm sure 4x4truckled will chime in soon. Have you reached out to them directly before posting here?

So I assume you are using the CrystaLux Wire Harness that came in the kit?

What it SOUNDS LIKE are issues with the WP connector.

So chances are you bent the pins while inserting the WP connectors. There is a trick to plugging WP connectors in. The pin on one side tends to move around and if it's not centered as you insert it you can CRUSH the pin if it doesn't line up. So im guessing that is what happened.

Disconnect the harness from the light, look inside the connector. Does it look like the pin is CRUSHED. If so that is your issue. You'll need to cut the end off and re-crimp the WP connector on with a new pair.

The trick to installing WP connectors is that as you go to plug them in, pull back on the wires a bit giving it some tension which helps the pins stay CENTERED and avoids crushing the pins.

I'd be surprised if it was crushed, but being bent or pushed out of either end of the Weather Pack connectors because it wasn't locked in correctly would be my first guesses.

Need pictures of both ends of the connector to verify.

Do your plugs have the white filler piece in the 4th hole? If not you probably got water intrusion and corrosion.

Weatherpack connectors don't use those
