Running light wire in. Help

Added a Raptor style grille and was looking for a fairly easy way to wire in the 3 led lights on the grille. Hopefully someone can assist me with a location under the hood rather than pulling a fender liner. 2023 bronco wildtrak. Thank you.

Do you have factory upfitter switches?

How are you trying to control them? With an upfitter switch or with the vehicle marker lights.

There should be some prewire pigtails in the engine bay. I believe there is a purple one right on top of the radiator. I’ll go look at mine

I taped mine an added waetherpak connectors but you should see a wire on top of rad leaving the harness between the two big cooling fan plugs. Other end is behind the brake reservoir. From there you can jump to the pass thru wire in the cab or connect to an upfitter output if you have them

I saw a video on amazon for their raptor grill lights that show wiring. They tap a fuse in the under hood box that's on the ignition switch so it comes on when you start the engine. You can see which fuse they use in the video

Pain in the neck though, you’ll be pinching that power wire with the edge of the box unless you buy a new lid that you can feed the wires through like this IAG one: https://iagoffroad.com/iag-i-line-f...MIv-WotOPwkAMVplFHAR2zMzBfEAQYASABEgL1gPD_BwE

If you have the upfitter switches I would highly recommend tapping into any of the low amp switches over the fuse box method. Real easy to do and you can control when you want the lights on and off. Did this for my grill and wired it to switch 6, its great!
