is there any easy way to wire Diode SS5 back lit light to run light?

You just need a fuse tap/add-a-fuse tap. Take the control wire and go to your fuse panel and use a circuit that comes on when the truck is on.
If you are not comfortable with this please take it to a professional so you don't do damage.

Recommend connecting to an aux switch if you want to easily cycle through the different backlight colors.
