Best Hardtop Color

Honestly, it depends on what the body color of the vehicle. Certain colors look better with certain tops IMHO.

I want to say I don't like MIC. But I'm not sure I can. In many ways, it's a neutral color and I'm conditioned to not really notice it - since every car has some degree of black/gray plastic at this point. I will say that painted white or black would eliminate more color options for me, whereas MIC seems to contrast well with more of the body colors.

And, I don't like painted flares like on the OBX - so, not sure how that translates to a hard top. When I see a Wrangler with a body colored top I usually think "I wonder if that person even knows that the top is removeable..." Around here, a painted top seems to be an indicator of a mall crawler...

As others have said, depends on the body color. I think Eruption Green looks horrible with the MIC. If they could get a tan, that would be perfect. Now for White, Grey, Area 51, I think the MIC looks pretty good. The problem with body color tops is that because the Bronco is so big, in real life it can be a bit much with a "bold" body color.

Same with white tops. If the body color is pretty close, white roof, wheels, trim looks good. If its a contrast like lightning blue, white roof can look good but then you need to be careful you don't get too much other white or you end up looking like the poppa smurf mobile that had pics floating around awhile back.

Ford's problem is that there isnt a coherent design scheme throughout. Its like 20 different designers each added something and some combos work but a lot just dont. (Don't get me started on the color matched interior accents.

This. And if you do it, you have to be careful with the additional white accents you add. It looks fantastic though.

Carbonized Gray with MIC goes best

I like the MIC with our AMB. 2nd Choice would be Black

The White is going to be overdone with all the Retro Heritage looks.

As for Tan, it would be great if you can get the drapes to match the rug so to speak.

In the early days I thought white was the answer but after seeing a few, I'm over it. Never liked body colored, it's just too much especially on 4drs. Black would be fine, but I'm more than happy with gray and I wouldn't change a thing.
