Bestop Skyrider flapping while driving

I recently purchased a Bestop Skyrider for 2023 Everglades and the passenger side is make a flapping noise while driving. The driver side is tight and secure and the passenger side looks tight, but consistently flaps as driving. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Not sure about the skyrider, but my sunrider required a LOT of adjustments to fit right.
The main one being the strike plates where it latches in the front. Had to move them forward and also used some flat washers to shim them down a bit so the latches pulled tighter. Added some weather strip to the header as well.

I'm wondering if the cable on that side came loose. Mine makes kind of a popcorn popping sound at high speeds but I haven't seen it do anything like that on either side. Looking closer at the photos something on that side doesn't look right it should be flush with the bottom looks like something is pushing the top out. Compare it to the other side.

I wonder if the snorkel is directing the wind in a way that is creating it to happen... just a thought.

I appreciate the feedback. I’m certainly going try and remove the back and check the cables once I get a chance.
The snorkel comment is interesting, as I certainly never thought about how that affects airflow. We shall see after I pull it all apart. Ha!

That isn't normal flapping for bestop. I'm 90% sure your cable is loose on that side. When new those cables should be extremely tight.

I was able to reattach the cables and now I only hear what I think is normal wind noise.

I was able to reattach my cable. Since, I’ve only had minor wind noise.

I have the skyrider and I feel the wind/road noise is maybe 2-5% louder on the fwy than when I had the full hardtop on. Not bad at all in my opinion.

A cable snapped on my Skyrider. Bestop sent me a new cable. OP definetley has a broken or incorrectly installed cable. There should be absolutely zero gap between the frame and cloth. Cant even stick a fingernail in mine.

Were you able to fix yours? Mine seems to be flapping and rattling, as if the screws loosened up on all the control arms and bow. I’ll check my cables out tomorrow and maybe tighten the screws
