Am I the only one thinking they are getting closer and closer to their first convertible?

I have this vision of a lot of future OB / BL / WT owners standing around saying I just wanted the Base / BB / BD, but by the time I optioned it the way I wanted it, it cost only a thousand more to have . . . . This.

Don't freak out guys, these are pictures of the new F150 build and price that just went live. But these are options on the Bronco as well. I noticed the $420 price was the same as it is on the ranger to add a rear locker. I think this gives me a decent idea of what my build will cost. Sharing in case anyone else gets a kick out of it like I just did.

(Note: I think the engine will cost more in the Bronco than shown here due to the fact that all the F150s look to be automatic and we'd be upgrading from the manual. Guessing that could add to the cost)

Yup, just did the same look at the F150. I will probably end up with the BB now with 2.7 and rear locker, hope they have ratio options. Comes out close to the price of the BD, maybe I can option real bumpers as a treat.

Man, I just do not like the gray grill.

the tech specs from the ford website show 3.73:1/4.27:1 drive ratio for the auto. do y'all know what these two numbers refer to? is one 2door and the other 4door?
Don't hold me to it, but I believe the 3.73 are the open axles and the 4.27 comes with the E-locker option.

Don’t believe I’ve seen these pics. looks like Big Bend. If so I won’t feel so bad if I can’t get Sasquatch package. These will be fine till I get to upgrade the tires and suspension. Wheels look better than I bought they would.

These pics look great. It definitely has me leaning away from the Base Sasquatch now. With how I expect my build to turn out, I don’t see how I could justify a BB over a BD.

BB 4 Door (Granger Pricing)

$35,300

+2200 10 Speed
+1200 2.7L
+1300 Hard Top
+500 Rear Locker with 4.27 Gearing
+300 Auxiliary Switches/Wiring

= $40,800

VERSUS

BD 4 Door (Granger Pricing)

$37,500

+2200 10 Speed
+1200 2.7L
+1300 Hard Top
+0 Locking Rear Diff and 4.46 Gearing
+0 Auxiliary Switches/Wiring
+0 Upgraded Bash plates
+0 Heavy Duty Front Bumper
+0 Rock Rails
+0 Standard Vinyl Seats
+0 Rubber flooring with drains
+0 Rock GOAT mode

= $42,200

So the difference between the two is about $1400. All those items that are standard on the BD and listed as zero dollars above are definitely worth that difference in my opinion.

It seems to me that Ford made the Big Bend the bastard stepchild. As a BB reserver, I’m slightly upset about it lol.

I have been doing the same calculations. Started Base then BD, then BL then I threw caution to the wind and said wildtrak

but reality will set in with the BP tool- most likely will be back to the BD.
It will be nice to settle in on something to then dream about it for the next year!

Ah there just chicken scratches on paper, all guesses on what potential options and packages cost.
Most likely my numbers are off anyhow.

my plan is to know what I need vs what I want
Needs.
2 door
2.7 AT
Towing package
Roof rack
wants
Painted black hard top
Sasquatch
Steel bumpers
Vinyl- rubberized floor
Cyber orange

who knows maybe the wants become needs, hell its my dream build might as well throw caution to the wind.

I'm conflicted! I really don't need the Sasquatch package for off-roading purposes. It'll just be for the coolness factor. I still fell that I would want/need the 2.7 with the Sasquatch. But Base 4 door + Sasquatch + 2.7 = $40,100. Which is exactly were I wanted to land.

But, I can also do Big Bend 4 door + Auto + 4.27 E-Locker + 2.7 = $39,880. With this I get a 32's and probably a more reasonable DD vehicle with more than enough off-road gear. Plus I like the stock wheels and grill on the Big Bend. Also, I would most likely save $1,900 by not get the 2.7, as the 4.27 should be more than enough for the 2.3 with the 32's.

Plus Big Bend opens up some colors I'd prefer.

Or new idea - BB + Auto + 4.27 E-Locker + Mid Package = $39,580 (I think). Gearing should make the 2.3 very okay. If not, will get a factory tune!

Glad I could help. Ford should move some BD features to the BB to even it out.
