I like the look of the 75’s vs 70’s. Looks taller. I went 295/70/17 and I wish I would have gone 295/75/17.

Thank you so much! These would make it go from 32 to 33s and not rubbing issues? Got a standard OBX 2.3 auto… any reason not to upgrade? As you can tell I’m not an expert I just want something more capable that stock.

I replaced my BB 255s with 275s on Badlands wheels. Still 32s but happy with the look.

I agree, 285/70's are the way to go on the Big Bend wheel. Totally changes the vibe of the wheel. Here's a set of Wildpeak Mud Terrains on my Base with Big Bend take-off wheels I picked up for pennies.

But your photo looks like Falken Wildpeak M/T tires not BFG? And also per Tire Rack, that Falken is not available in 285/75R17.

Dang IT! My Bad, those are Wilpeak 285/70's in the picture. It's been a long week. Sorry (I run BFG's AT's in the winter and got totally confused.)

np, that's still a nice fitting combo. And of the stock wheels, in my view one of the best in terms of appearance and simplicity.

No expert here either no rubbing didn’t have to remove crash bars no lift . I have 2.3 too , maybe a 2-3 mph difference on OD.
I’m very pleased I was looking for that look . I nailed it ( for me )

All I have on there is a Zone leveling kit.
Tires are Toyo AT II

I think if I went any bigger they wouldn’t fit on the center brake light where the spare goes. It’s like a perfect fit. This tire size is basically a 34x11.5

No rubbing or anything, fits great. Didn’t need to remove crash bar. Looks ever better in person. Pictures don’t do it justice.

I was just looking at those same tires and was wondering if the crash bars could stay. Really glad to hear they can!

Nice. I'm debating those same Toyo 285/75R17 tires for a base 2-door, or the Sas Goodyear Territory 315/70R17.

I like the slightly smaller diameter of your Toyo, personally I think that size provides the best match for a larger size which still works reasonable with a stock Bronco setup. But, that Toyo weighs 71 lbs, compared to only 52 lbs for the larger diameter Goodyear tire. So I've been kind of debating which ultimately provides the best ride/performance.

Do you have any photos that show how the edge of the tire lines up with the flare? Inward, even or outward of the flare? What some folks call the "poke".

I’ll take a picture and see. I don’t think there’s any noticeable poke compared to before but idk

Really glad you posted this as I'm looking to upgrade my BB tires in June to the same size, or a 285/70/17.

Around how much was the cost of the 5 tires/install? Also, is the leveling kit necessary?

I think without the level it would definitely rub at maximum deviation. I got all 5 for 1800 at discount tire in town, but I have a friend that works there. Idk if he helped me out on the price at all.

285/75r17 BFG Ko2 beside a 315/70r17 (35x12.5) Milestar Patagonia mt2

There isn't nearly as much difference as people think considering most 35s are more like a 34.5 and these particular ko2s are more like a true 34

I changed my BB tires to 33's also , but I have a two door . and I used the OBX wheels cause I like them and were cheap to purchase ( don't know if ya'll will believe me but I got them @ $40 each from someone local that wanted them out of their garage , $200 total ) I still have the factory wheels in garage attic.
