Supposedly they are going to release the last remaining campsites 14 days before the reservation date so that means that tomorrow sites should be released. I am assuming they will be released tonight at midnight so I will try then.

So……on the Recreation.gov website it said to check on 12-14-22 for the 12-27-22 campsites to be released. I thought that was strange since it also says that the campsites would be released 14 days prior so that would be today 12-23-23. I didn’t want to miss it so I got up last night at midnight and checked and sure enough they were not released. I checked again several times early morning and no luck. I checked at 1000 and they were all booked.
I have a site for Wednesday and Thursday. I thought I had snagged a Tuesday site as well but by the time I got to the payment part someone else had snatched it.

That's a good site. I have previously stayed in 49 and 59. I am looking forward to exploring Big Bend with other Broncos.
