Who all reserved there campsites? I'll be in site 35.
what link did you use? don't have mine yet, but it is in production with a blend date of 6/30. Hope I'll have it by then.

Recreation.gov is good to use. If you are unable to make a reservation at Chisos Basin, try the Rio Grande Village Campground. It is not that far from Chisos Basin. https://www.nps.gov/bibe/planyourvisit/rgv_campground.htm
The site says those dates are not available yet, don't know how you got 35, it keeps defaulting to June for me.

It looks like only group sites are available in Chisos Basin. There are also sites available at the Rio Grande Village Campground. I used the Recreation.gov App.

I have stayed at the RGV campground. It is a good place. There are just a bunch of 4 legged coyotes that walk around like they own the place.

The Park has not yet released additional sites at the Chisos Basin Campground.
There are plenty of sites available for December 27-30 at the Rio Grande Village Campground. It is 22 miles from Chisos Basin. It is about half that distance from the trail head on the 28th. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234035

New to bronco ownership and late to this forum. Would love to join this big bend meet up. But can’t find a site in either Chisos or Rio grande.

Dheerajv, I am not sure if/when they may release more spaces. I can add another vehicle to my reservation. I'll be sleeping in my Bronco, so there will be plenty space for you to set up a tent. Just let me know if you want to join my reservation.

Aloha MannyG20. Let me know if need a place to pitch a tent. I will be sleeping inside my Bronco in my hammock. Dheerajv is using the second parking spot and will be sleeping in his Bronco. The camping spot will be available for a tent. I can just update my reservation to show three people. Not sure about your vehicle...maybe it could be parked in front of the visitors center. I look forward to exploring Big Bend with other Broncos.
