I guess I'm old, but as much as I like the look of the minimalist antenna options, I can't see how they’d possibly gather any sort of am signal when I'm bouncing around the "interior " of my vast state. This at least looks like there's a chance.

To be honest, I don’t listen to much AM radio. I haven’t seen any change in FM signal with the new antenna, but I will run through the AM dial and give you an update.

I've got one of the 3-4" stubby ones and I lose signal around DFW all the time. The parts stores sell different options, so I'd say try there and keep your receipt!

This is the build thread for my 2023 BaseSquatch 2.3L Auto 2 door with modular bumper and aux switches. Ordered from Town & Country Ford in Bessemer, AL on 2/2/2022.

Had TCCustoms add a @Zone Offroad 1” Leveling Kit, the brush guard and Ford rubber floor mats. Picked up on 6/16/2023.

First thing I did of course was remove all the dealer stickers! Loving it so far and even the wife likes it more than she thought she would.

Plans going forward:

• @ORACLE Lighting wheel ring 3rd brake light - DONE
• 21Offroad fog light kit
• Tufskinz Velocity Blue grille lettering - DONE
• 21Offroad grab handles - DONE
• Extreme Terrain Barricade NB1 running boards
• Paint Bronco emblem black - DONE
• Stubby antenna - DONE
• Paint ugly pinch welds black - DONE
• @Ford Motor Company rear cargo mat - DONE
• Possibly winch plate and winch?
• And whatever else hits me??

Wow, losing reception in the middle of the Metroplex. Once I get north of Clark County, towns are 80 to a 100 miles apart. Stubby isn't gonna get it done.

Yeah, the little short ones aren't very useful if you want to use your radio often.

So I ran through the AM stations and have pretty good reception. But like I said, I don’t listen to AM much so I may not be the best judge.

Also, love the blue color matched everywhere. I bet it’s easier matching the Velocity Blue than going with a purple like I am. I feel like mine is the 50 Shades of Purple/Grey/Blk build.

Not in the cards at this time but we are constantly developing new products and looking for expansion opportunities!
