Replacing stock shocks on my sasquatch with 5100's. Do I just match the stock shock spring perch setting to the corresponding notch on the 5100 for the stock ride height? Or is there more to it? Thanks,

Spring rate, length, and static weight at the corner will dictate compressed length. Assuming you are reusing the same spring this should all be the same.

compressed spring length, perch collar location and shock extended length will dictate ride height. You can match the perch collar location but need to account for any differences in extended length. I don’t think 5100s and SAS will be the same.

At SAS ride height the motion ratio is about 1.6, so 1” of shock displacement results in 1.6” of wheel displacement.

Finished the rears yesterday. Had to order new tophats as I had to destroy one of the originals. The nut on the top of the shock just would not come loose, so I had to use the torch on it(the other came off just fine). Odd that it was frozen with rust since I don't drive it in winter with Wisconsin salt. Hopefully the fronts will go smoother when I tackle them.
