Bought second rear tow hook from Ford

Seems like a lot of people are looking to put a factory tow hook on the rear passenger side of Broncos that only come with a rear drivers side tow hook. The Ford dealer parts department didn't have an easy time finding it, but they eventually did. Not cheap, though. $71 for the hook and $6 for the two bolts. I used my Ford points, so it wasn't as painful. Torque for bolts is 59 ft/lbs.

Do you know if there's someone who manufactures tow hook covers for these hooks, like a rubber sleeve for decorative purposes? I've seen others who have colorful covers for their tow hooks on the front bumpers.

I painted my front and my one rear hook. All red and it looks sharp. With this info i'll order another hook for the rear so it looks balanced. The front ones actually support the lower cooling radiator so be cautious and patient but an easy project.

Is this trim specific? My 21 badlands has two from the factory, although i will be replacing the rear bumper once it gets a bit more beat up.

Yes, it’s trim specific, I have base model Sasquatch and only one rear loop

Found one of these for ~$58 shipped from Fairway Ford for anyone still looking. Just searched on the part number from this thread. Ordered last night & got a shipping notification this morning.

I just got some (ford performance red ones) for $100 shipped. I went to remove the one tow hook on driver side of my Black Diamond and a bolt is stuck or the nut came loose in the frame or something is wrong I can’t remove it. Any advice? It just spins freely…

Got the bolt out with the help of some pressure from a pry bar while loosening the bolt. The nut is definitely broken loose …not sure how to fix that
