I went on a bourbon tour when I was in Louisville last year. I have no clue how you people drink this stuff.

Eagle rare has become hard to find at the liquor stores

But for some reason my local target has it most of the time. I guess bourbon fans aren't checking target

At the liquor store I have to ask for it because they keep it behind the counter, but at target it's just $32 and sitting there for me to grab

Most of the good ones have been mentioned.
Woodford and Blantons mostly for me. Been supporting Horse Soldiers recently. Give it a shot. I know it’s not KY but great taste and worthy company.

By the bottle, I usually go for Booker, Jim Beam, Four Roses. A couple/few times a year I'll treat myself at a bar with Pappy's Family Reserve. I generally drink it neat, or sometimes with one of those giant sphere ice cubes.

I did the same, it's fun but the people are interesting on tour

Each tour is an hour long (that's how they try and prevent drunk driving) and you get a tiny sip of bourbon at the end. I saw so many people just shoot it down in half a second with a nasty face on as if they hated it.

I'd be slowly sipping and enjoying it, and half the tour had just gulped it down..... This happened at basically all 4-5 tours I went on

KY native here... lots of good choices but my go to will always be E.H. Taylor. Lucky to have connections and actually get my hands on several “rare” ones that are hard to find

I’m a cheapass so my go to whiskey (not bourbon) is Costco’s Canadian whiskey.

For bourbon if I’m still being a cheapass, Jim beam is usually my go-to. If I get a nice bonus check or for a special occasion, I’ll splurge on some Maker’s though.

Everyone likes Pappy, but who can actually get their hands on that. I happen to have 2 half-empty bottles, but it has been impossible to get a hold of a new one.

My daily drinker is usually Larceny. It's better than you'd expect, and cheap.

Others I hit on occasion include WIllett, Whistlepig (way better than I had expected it to be), Knob Creek 12, Weller Antique (high proof, but good), Blanton's, Four Roses Small Batch and a few others.

I also drink Buffalo Trace sometimes when I'm wanting something other than Larceny.

I have a whole bunch of others, but those are my most common drinkers.

One time, I bought some Jim Beam Devil's Cut, because I fell for Mila in the commercials. Yikes, what a mistake.

Blantons is always welcome surprise when I can find a bottle. Right now my go to bottles are:
Bib & Tucker
Wathen’s Single Barrel
Weller
Good list! I can't ever find Blantons or Weller but load up when I do. Wathen's is a great lesser known choice.
Eagle Rare, Four Roses Small Batch, Michters and Michters Rye, Woodford Double Oaked all excellent.
Will have to try B&T.
Have also heard good stuff about Yellow Rose.
