@Papa Smurf Can you give a run down on what you did to your sound system? I've seen a few things here on the forum. It seems to come in 3 basic flavors.
1. Update speakers only.
2. #1 + Sound Bar add (Delete pods)
3. #1 and #2, but add serious amp upgrade.

I know this is relative to how much a person cares. But I am curious as to what you did.

I'm loving all the photos of your new horses. My Mean Green Machine still sits at the Nashville, TN rail yard. It's been 2 weeks today since it was unloaded from the rail car. Still no transport to my dealer. Calls to marketing, chats, call to dealer does nothing. I was told that it could be 3 more weeks by my local dealer! It makes me want to fight for a discount on that transportation charge! I've waited over a year, so why not just keep waiting? But, the pissed off level is getting closer to 10 every day. I sold my F150 and driving a Jaguar as a daily is nice - until you need to load something more than a few grocery bags. 1st world problem for sure. Still, the logistics operation of FMC, at least this last leg, is absolutely killing me!

So I did mine in stages….
I replaced all 6 speakers with decent Rockford speaker. I didn’t go crazy on the price, but I didn’t get cheap from Walmart. They helped but I was left underwhelmed that I spent $400 for that. I added the bass blockers and that cleaned up the sound. Then I added the Kicker Key amp and that’s when it really clicked. It gave the power to make it all sound great. Finally, I had a Kicker Hideaway 10” sub sitting in the cargo area.

And she’s home!!! So worth the wait , and such a beautiful day on the Cape to drive home

I’m debating on redoing the sound system first or the Amazon mod bumper. Can’t decide.

I have a buddy that 3m clear wrapped his rubicon. The whole thing. Pricey for just protection but a good investment.

My ‘21 has it on everything ( including mirror caps, door handles, and fender flares) but the tailgate. Money well spent but damn was that a thick pile of cash.

Train just departed MarshallTown IA so seems like it’s moving. Would be a long shot but would love to see the truck by end of next week.

Regarding sounds systems…. I’ve turned mine back to stock in prep for trade in and damn is it terrible now. Speakers, amp, proper equalizer, and sub can do wonders. Give it some time and the itch to replace speakers will start to creep in.

I’ve never been a sound system guy . Always put my money in speed or performance or looks but after adding a nice JL marine system in my bay boat, I could see adding some components down the road.
