Check out patriot trailers out of Australia. They are very very expensive but very cool.
You're not kidding on them being expensive. Their cheapest one costs more than I spent buying my Tundra brand new, and more than I expect to spend on a new Bronco.

Jeez, for the price they're asking I could just buy a 2nd overlanding rig and hire somebody to go set up camp wherever I'm going. Who needs a trailer.

Yeah those are pretty sweet and I've seen others like em. But I was kinda thinking literally an upside down teardrop. Same curve, same simple design and size. Preferably same color schemes and paneling as the 70s ones. Just upside down for breakover and departure angle. Here are also some real cool campers to get some room but still get down tight trails.

Omg I was on a video conference with my family and my aunt was telling a sad story as I was looking at your post and I couldn’t stop laughing. That first trailer looks ridiculous lololol

Somebody needs to start bulding teardrops upside down for offroading. Put the curves to the ground for clearance and maybe do a rtt sized hardshell to pop the top up a bit even if its just at an angle. Have a drop down kitchen at the rear. I think it be sweet.
Looks like someone was thinking ahead.
