I have a 2021 First Edition with very low mileage. I haven't used it to haul/move anything large but I've noticed that the interior panels have many scuff marks and scratches. Has anyone tried to get this covered under warranty? We have another SUV that I've used for many Home Depot runs and the plastic interior parts seem to be holding up far better (after 5 years). I've tried to clean the scratches but some of the scuff marks/scratches won't come out. Thx in advance for any feeback or help.

I know what you mean. I loaded up some tables and chairs for a crawfish boil in my wife's new bronco and scratched some of the plastic up in the back. Got in trouble for that. I was wondering if the scratches could be buffed out with some sandpaper

Most of us have accepted that the interior plastic is very soft and easily damaged. I've seen at least one molle panel product that protects the sides.

I can’t imagine scratches are covered under warranty. You could maybe check with a local auto upholstery place and see if they can do anything or possibly custom wrap the panels. I work in a tint/PPF shop and see new vehicles everyday and more and more of the newer vehicles are using less expensive materials in the interiors. Some people think the Bronco is bad but I’ve seen worse. I also think Ford figured that these Broncos were gonna be for more off-roading and people wouldn’t be to concerned with the interior since they will get dirty and trashed. Anyway good luck.

I don't, but that Mabett solution looks like a good one too.

Pretty sure that's a lost cause once it happens. Thats why I did some stick-ons as my first mod for the center console, and door handle areas. I also have mounted tape with tire like treading on it in multiple places. However, I personally don't care about the trunk area scratches and scuffs.

This is one of Mabetts old products. Not sure they still have it, it was for covering the rear for dogs.

Didnt see this mentioned but a heat gun will take out 90% of scratches in molded interior plastic panels. This is timely for me since I did this just yesterday after bringing the bikes out of storage in the back of the Bronco, scratched a few panels in back and touched them up in just a few minutes running a heat gun over them.

Pro-tip. LESS IS MORE. keep the heat low and dont hover. once you see how the plastic responds you'll know how much heat to apply.

Pic just for attention:

I've heard a heat gun takes out minor scuffs. I haven't tried it myself. Would be awesome if it works!

As mentioned above, heat gun or small pocket torch. Hit the scratches with a little heat and they "melt" away.
