Woah. 2900?

Is this a lagging measure from the strikes this summer?

Its an indication that the market has gotten too expensive, and coupled with interest rates and the approaching holiday expenses, a new body on frame anything just isn't in the cards for most.

Not to mention many/most that wanted them already have them.

I personally blame it on the death of the base model.... ;)

All I know is the dealer I reserved/ ordered my Bronco from now has lot stock at sticker when they routinely had these marked up $5000 and they have a Code Orange Bronco Raptor one thousand UNDER sticker.

That's interesting, but not surprising... to a point.

As others have said the strike has something to do with it, but that would I have thought hit the produced number more than the sold number? But maybe I missed the threads with that data?

What I find interesting is that on my twice a month several hundred mile road trips I see a lot of standing Bronco's on most, not all, dealers lots. Anecdotal, but interesting.

I'm surprised by the electric vehicle numbers and the increase. I keep hearing they are not moving at all.

Hopefully, sales will continue slow so they can readjust Bronco pricing to be much lower across the board. Hopefully, sales of Maverick tank as well so we can finally get rid of these ADM’s and Ford not building orders waiting over a yr before new ones.

Ironically, I went to a local dealer to ask about a Bronco in their lot, and was told all their broncos are being sold at a decent markup (5-7k) because they bought them from other dealers nd have to recoup money.

i sympathize to a degree with them, but buying out a ton in of trucks to price gouge your customers, and refusing to come down on cost on depreciating assets just all in all seems like poor decision making across the board.

So now, if the month started with no broncos for sale anywhrre, they should have 3 months inventory on the ground. And in another minth, 6 months unsold inventory - and we know it's much higher. No dealer anywhere should charge ADM and in fact should be offering $5k discounts lol

It can't be. I have a friend who's got one on order and being told to plan on August, 2024. If there were 8,000 new Broncos available from just this past month, he'd have his right now.

I'm seeing this in Florida. The Badlands I abandoned in June/July was marked up $5K but now is $1-2K under MSRP. Plenty of supply now.

It hit the produced number in October (82 built). Sales lag production by 5 weeks.
