Statistically speaking, every human in the world has one testicle.
The demographic stereotypes for the bronco are probably going to be split up between trim levels just as much as it will be between sports vs full size bronco owners.

I have no data to back this up, just observations:

1. Back when both Jeep CJ/Wrangler and Broncos (Gen 1, full-size, and Bronco II) existed at the same time, males drove both, but it seemed like a lot more females drove Jeeps than did Broncos. Also, remember that though you technically could remove the tops of Gen 1 and full-size Broncos, it was a major undertaking and lacked the convenience of a convertible soft top like Jeeps had. My hunch is that this factor made the Broncos less appealing to females, as well.

2. However, that was back when SUVs in general had yet to become grocery-getters and were still largely a masculine choice.

3. Since the last Broncos in 1996, the market for women driving “SUVs” (which means something different now or at least far broader in scope) has exploded. And during that time, Broncos have not existed, until now. Within this trend, the four-door Wranglers have captured many, many female motorists who wanted a compromise between the practicality of a Tahoe and the fun, convertible nature of a Jeep.

4. I expect the new Bronco to land a much larger share of the female market than previous Broncos did, especially with the four-door models and easily removable top and doors.
I think this is pretty spot-on arm chair sociology analysis. I'd add one thing that maybe only a woman would think about....possibly a man who had sisters:

In the 90's, Barbie drove a Jeep (maybe she still does I dunno?). I know when I was in high school / middle school my dream car was a Jeep and I'll be the first to admit Matel was probably responsible for putting that idea in my head.

This was the first thing that popped into my head.

Where I live in NC, Jeep is the vehicle many women get after their kids age out of the minivan.

Open air, top off, doors off, cruising. I give zero shits if my Bronco ever goes off-road, so long as I can have a blast driving it.

All this said, people make decisions based on aspirations, so I suspect "off-roading" in the new Bronco is more aspirational than realty based, at least until depreciation brings the values down some.

I wonder what the owner demographic is gonna look like in a few years for the Bronco. The classic stereotype with the wrangler is that it's mostly owned by women and guys who don't hardcore off road. Sure this probably depends where you live but the wrangler does have this stigma around it for the vast majority. That being said I wonder if the Bronco will be a more male or female driven market because so far it seems to be leaning towards male market just based on social media activity, forums, news, etc. Could it become guys vs girls - Bronco vs Wrangler? Just a random thought.
90% of owners in 3 years will be non-offroaders driving to the mall. Damn shame. Just like the 4 door jeeps.

I'll probably be near my 46th November birthday when I get it. Well, nearer that than the last one for sure. Gen X'er. It's "mine", as we bought the Z71 for my wife. But in all fairness she will have her own key and total ability to drive it whenever, wherever. She has the pink Calcutta sticker on her truck, so it's claimed.
I'm putting my destination stickers on mine and will be DD it when I'm not on the bike..
So there's that demographic.
If we didn't need a truck for the myriad of uses we need it for, I'm pretty sure she would have herself a Jeep or a Bronco of her own as well with all the pink stickers she wants me to apply on it.
As far as outdoors, this vehicle is going to open up some paths to adventure we haven't had the chance to do together. It will be a DD, but will see above average offroad use. And will have two of those cool kayak loading systems installed on an exoskeleton rack.
Most of our outdoor stuff lies in kayaking and getting to/from places to put in or take out.
Soon enough it will be just she and I 'yakking, so we can load up our two in the truck, leave the Bronc at the take-out, load them up, get the truck, and come home to grill out some burgers.
I grill out every time we go, I think it's an unbreakable habit.
Plus I'm Hangry by the time we do all that, wash the yaks down once we get home, and get the grill going.
We will be desert riding, mountain trail riding, mudding, etc. And going to Starbucks/Home Depot. And of course Wal-mart because you can't get away from them.
And work. Always work. Sigh. Gotta pay for that fine piece of American iron somehow.
I'm rather looking forward to the adventures, and finally getting her to go camping/light duty overlanding some once we get acclimated.
