yeah i saw
THIS!Saw that video @Newbie, and know what they’re trying to convey here, but it’s also a bit misleading.
First, Anyone who goes out in the woods knows that any vehicle can get stuck, from a Prius to an Ultra4 4400 class rig; that’s why even seriously built rigs often have a winch installed.
A Braptor comes with bigger and better tires than the Sasquatch Goodyear Wranglers, but the BFG KO2 is an AT tire, not an MT. I’d imagine that a Nitto Trail Grappler or Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT, or BFG KM3 would have done better. Hell, the Goodyears; say what you will, but they’re a hybrid MT and maybe would have had a chance.
We also don’t know if the tires were aired down. We don’t know if the guy was in 4L. And in the end, sometimes mud is just too deep and taken at an angle makes it even more challenging.
The guy also gave a ton of throttle when at the bottom which just dug deeper, which is always a no no when stuck in mud or sand, yet people HP things far too often.
Anyway, takeaway is Braptor or whatever, you should always show caution to mud.
