How long before my build week should I expect to get a blend date email? Or will that not arrive until sometime during my build week? My dealer told me being scheduled for a build week is great but that your build week can get pushed back (as mine has 4 times already). He said once you get a specific date you are locked in. So with my current build week being April 3rd, I’m wondering if I should expect to see a blend date email in the coming weeks? Or perhaps I’ll get another dreaded delayed email… šŸ˜ž
Thanks for any info y’all have on the process!

Idk the answer to your question OP. But I have my own question.

What's the difference between build week and blend week? My build week was emailed a couple months ago for March 6 (tomorrow). I haven't received any delayed/blend emails. I logged in and saw it's in production. Can I assume it's on time then?

I am intentionally ignorant of the subtle definitions/differences. I've been waiting since I reserved July 2020. I'll get it when I get it at this point. Thanks

So from my understanding the build week is the week that your vehicle will be built, the blend date is the specific day of that week when final assembly occurs i.e. all the parts come together. According to my dealer, once you get a blend date that is ford basically saying they have all the parts for your vehicle and it will be put together on said date.
Until a blend date is specified your production week can keep getting pushed back, but once you have a blend date it can’t.

You won't get an email about your blend date. All you can do is start checking for a window sticker on the Thursday before your build week. Once the window sticker shows up you'll see your blend date.

Blend date has been showing up at Ford.com

Steps
- goto Ford.com
- sign into "My Account"
- Then click on "Order Status"
- you will need your "Customer's Order Number" & "VIN" then click "Accept & Track"
- If you have been assigned a build day, then you will see it under "Scheduled Week Of"

I hope the above makes sense.

BTW .. online window sticker will appear 7 days before your blend date.
