Great thread! Thanks for compiling. Those headliners looks great. I was skeptical of the OEM version...mostly because we haven't seen any in the reviews/video so far (correct?).

There was a thread about it awhile back just with pictures. No video or in-depth reviews AFAIK (other than "it's quieter" from testers/industry people)

All,

Iā€™m creating this thread as a way for us to track upcoming gear that is specific to the Bronco.

I have an excel spreadsheet with things I will need for the Bronco and Iā€™m slowly knocking things out as we get closer to delivery.

Thankfully, most things Iā€™m purchasing for my Bronc are pretty standard off-road items, however Iā€™ve noticed a few things Iā€™ll need, specifically mounting solutions.

Hopefully we can keep a running list of the development status of pieces of kit people are waiting for. Iā€™ll add my two below:

1. Goose Gear plate system
Status: awaiting development
Myself and at least one other forum member have been in touch with them and they fully plan to offer a plate system for the Bronco. Development will start as soon as they can get their hands on one (likely after delivery #1)

2. Grimm OffRoad ARB compressor mounting bracket
Status: awaiting development
I reached out to Grimm yesterday and they will be starting development on a compressor mount bracket as soon as they can get one for testing. Canā€™t wait for this one, their remote filter relocation and switch panel for the JLā€™s is really neat.

Oh, I missed that. I will try and dig it up. Assuming it was a pre-production/test version either way?

I reached out to several companies regarding trailer hitch development (hopefully for less $$ than factory) and have heard back from Reese (also parent company of HiddenHitch) as well as Uhaul.

I would avoid UHAUL hitch installations by any and all means. They screwed up our wiring in our Transit so bad it almost started a fire. It took several attempts to get the correct part. Plus, it's all rusted and looks like crap a few years later.

Haha! The "non-sport model," like the Sport is the top of the line and the "base model Bronco" is the turd no one really wants. I wonder if Crystal Glenn is aware of the Bronco, at all.

Probably not, but I have to imagine someone at the shop floor level is aware enough to press for development of these things?

Reached out to Rhino rack RE their backbone system, will see what kind of response we get. It's the best way to increase load ratings that I've seen on Wranglers, should be able to be ported over to the Bronco. Fingers crossed.

Update: this is the reply I received:

Rhino Rack Customer Service said:
Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rhino-Rack and for your patience during this busy time. Currently no plans for a rack for the new Ford Broncos, but we're always working on new systems and we recommend checking back with us every couple months to see if we have a system out for your vehicle.

Stay healthy and have a great day!

Cheers,

Tyler
If you're interested in this type of mounting solution for our Broncos, can't hurt to send them a friendly email stating your interest. The more people they have asking for it, the more Bronco will be on their map, especially as they forecast materials and R&D time for the rest of the year

Hefty Fabworks will be building armor for the Bronco as soon as they can get their hands on one for fitting. (I selflessly offered mine up. ;))

I reached out to Falcon shocks last August and they said they will be offering suspension options for the Bronco but didn't have a timeline at the time.

Getting the stock racks depending on build timeline set in May. Otherwise we don't have an immediate need if we don't receive the truck before our planned trip to CO.

Keeping an eye out for aftermarket options. At the current weight load limit...with GFC Roof Tent...one of us is sleeping in the truck šŸ˜†

Add me to the list of people looking forward to the Goose Gear seat delete for the 2dr. Would love to see one that allows access to the back cargo hatch area. This would be the first thing that I would purchase for it, if itā€™s available and looks good.

Any updates? Letā€™s keep it going!
MEK Magnet said theyā€™ll have something, Rugged Ridge, Smittybuilt? Iā€™m looking for ETAs from companies on sliders/rocker bars...
