I have been tossing my 40lb 3 yo kid into his car seat in the back of a 2dr. He loves climbing into the back but it does require some strength and longer arms to reach back, lift him into the seat (without banging his head on the top), and do the buckles. Best is with the top off and I can just throw him over the bar.As far as overall size, I pulled my previous 4-dr Jeep up next 2-dr Bronco, and the Jeep was only a little bit longer to the naked eye. I don’t know how much exactly, but it wasn’t much at all. So it’s a big vehicle!
For cargo, the 2-dr Bronco has double the space in the rear of a 2-dr Jeep—easily double.
If your kids (doesn’t apply to you, I know) are not in car seats, they can easily climb into the back of a 2-dr Bronco. Even adults have no issue with that.
As far as dogs, you can fold down the rear seats if you like?
