Oh balls. Just checked my status and my delivery date shifted from February to mid-May. No nickel and diming the delays- wham- a nice 3+ month shift to the right.
Yea me too. Over the weekend I had a 2/10 delivery date, then Monday it shifted to May 3rd. No to package. (2dr, OBX, Lux, Leather.)

Wonder what happened?

Welcome to the club. Iā€™ve been in production since 1/10. A guy from this forum had the same build week and dealer as me and has already received his bronco. Now how does that work lol. Then my dealer tells me that Iā€™m on chip hold and wonā€™t be released until mid February
Dude, my buddy and his dad were both 1/3 build dates and theyā€™re driving their Broncos. It drives me Fā€™ing crazy.

The 1/3 group on here has 23 people still stuck in production with no updates.

Ours has been built since 1/7 and passed inspection, just waiting for delivery per ford cs. Depends on what week i call and ask. Last time i called (last friday) they said it wasnt built yet. We will never know what the hold up is because Ford refuses to communicate. Great job FORD!!!!
I was told mine is built and on a microchip hold. I would assume that's the story for all of them in that lot.

Except Ford (in some cases) makes note in their system of why the hold. We ha e never been told a reason. And that is what frustrates most of us.

This is crazy. Ford has really messed this up. I herd in their Stockholdeā€™s meeting that they said they were aware of dealers marking up car prices. What was bad was they were going to limit their supply. How about revoking their franchise.

Stopped by one of the yards today.

.
I suspect this is the reason they have had to halt production. They, literally, can't fit any additional units into the holding areas. Well, my Cyber O Wildtrak is somewhere in that lot (with soft top). Maybe I'll see it in person one day. But, based on many of the threads I've read, I'll sure be inspecting it closely after this much time on Dirt, Snow, & Ice Mountain...

Whatā€™s causing some to be built and others held with earlier dates and what looks like the same build? I know there are chip issues, but Iā€™m thinking there should be some pattern or method to the madness. Iā€™m no expert in automotive manufacturing so I would welcome some insight into why some but not others.

They probably have some chips but not nearly as many as they planned.
so some lucky few get built, the rest go rot.

Quick count based upon all of our Tracking spreadsheets since 12/6/21 on Deliveries:

Giving a variable for those who may not update a tracker after they receive their Bronco (I certainly will be out enjoying it once it comes in), the number is probably close at 500 or so. Here was my quick count to arrive at that estimate:

12/6 = 103
12/13 = 32
12/20 = 75
1/3 = 105
1/10 = 98
1/17 = 100
1/24 = 125

Total = 638 not delivered.

The 1/24 week could be a bit iffy as they just got built, however was surprised to see the last 4 build weeks all being at or near 100 that have not been shipped/delivered. 12/6 is even more surprising to have 103 in that status. They are going on 2 months.
I would think there are far more in purgatory. Look the number of units built each day and use the percentage delivered on b6g as an approximate. Now, realize this goes back to early December.
