If you go to KOH you can ride(not drive) in the 2021 Bronco. First step in many.
King Of The Hammers Attendees Can Ride In The 2021 Ford Bronco

The 2021 Ford Bronco has made its rounds in recent months, showing up at all sorts of off-road events and various other gatherings. But to date, no one has had the chance to actually take a spin in the sixth-gen Ford Bronco – until now. Ford has confirmed that at the upcoming King of the Hammers off-road race, which runs from January 22nd-February 6th, attendees will finally get the chance to ride along in the new Bronco, as well as the Ford Bronco Sport.
Those lucky folks won’t get to drive the Bronco, of course, but they will get to sit in the passenger seat for a trail ride experience. The ride will be free for those that have paid for entrance to King of the Hammers, but there are several caveats attendees will need to take into account.
For starters, those interested in participating in the trail ride experience must have proof of a negative COVID-19 test from within 7 days of attendance or documentation that they have already fully recovered from COVID-19. Rapid tests will be available on-site for $20, or those that have been vaccinated can simply bring their proof of vaccination.
Ford did not say which Bronco(s) will be used for the trail ride experience but has announced the lineup of static display vehicles that will attend this year’s King of the Hammers. Those include the Bronco two-door Badlands Trail Rig, the Badlands four-door Area 51 model from Bronco Super Celebration East, the Filson Firecrew Concept, Bronco R racer, the Base two-door Sasquatch last seen at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes last year, a Shadow Black Outer Banks Sasquatch two-door, the Bronco Sport Cyber Orange Trail Rig, and the Rebelle Rally-winning Bronco Sport.

As confirmed by Mike Levine in a tweet last week, 2021 Ford Broncos will be at King of the Hammers. Bronco Nation can now confirm that the experience of going and seeing a new Bronco, in the steel, is about to evolve in a big way. Attendees at King of the Hammers will have a chance to ride in the 2021 Ford Bronco and drive the Bronco Sport.
Since the reveal of the 2021 Ford Bronco, most have encountered the new off-roader behind a barrier of ropes and stanchions. Since the Broncos that we’ve seen so far have been display units, not many folks have been given access even to sit inside them. King of the Hammers will be different. Participants will be able not only to sit in the Bronco but also to experience a trail ride from the passenger seat. While we’re sure most of you are chomping at the bit to drive the Bronco, the trail ride experience is an important step in Bronco’s launch timeline.
This experience will be free to attendees that have paid the $30 required for access to the lakebed but will take place outside of Hammertown. Due to restrictions put in place by the state of California, it will require proof of a negative COVID-19 test from within 7 days of attendance or documentation that an attendee has already fully recovered from COVID-19. Rapid tests will be available onsite for a fee of $20. If you have already been vaccinated for COVID-19, proof of the vaccination can be used as well. Event tickets can be purchased here.
For static display Broncos, we’ll see the all-star lineup of display units that have been at other events, albeit scattered in a few displays across the event footprint. Badlands will be well represented, as usual, but there will be a Base and Outer Banks in the lineup as well.
