I’m going to be driving my Bronco through the southern part of the states (~800 miles). I’m paranoid that the love bugs and other bugs are going to destroy the paint and mar other parts. PPF would be great but that’s not an option at this point. I’m really looking for a inexpensive temporary protection option that will be easy to remove after 36-48 hours. Trakwrap would work. Anyone have addiction thoughts?

I love the ford one. It’s been great for 9000 miles.

Addiction thoughts, you say? After all the "my dealer said" posts I can't help it.

Ppf, ppf and ppf. Only way to go if you want to keep your Bronco in good condition.

I ordered the same one (Aeroskin II) from Ford this week since it was on sale for $71.20, and it arrived two days later. I'm hoping to get around to installing it this weekend.

This!
Love bug season is pretty much over. That was about three weeks ago... not bad right now, still buggy in the evening and the mosquitos have picked up again. I'm in LA (Lower Alabama) around the Gulf Coast area.

Well I live in Northern NY and the only thing that seems to work is keeping it in the garage and not driving it from mid April to October 🤷🏻‍♂️😂🦟

It is fantastic. I was worried about it looking strange but between the grill and trail sights it looks perfect.

You can also try buying a mesh screen from a fabric store and putting it across the front of your Bronco. I did that to my Mustang a few years back before a long trip and it saved the paint from thousands of bugs.

Just get the cheapest dryer sheets you can find and they remove all the bugs. That's what I use during love bug season. The hurricane has blown them all away now.
