I want to get a Bull-Bar (brush bar, push bar, whatever) for my WildTrak upon receipt. I have seen the one from Ford (Large), the one from DV8 (Medium) and the one from Mabett (Small).

Which do you prefer and why? I'm conflicted.

Thanks in advance.

I went with a full prerunner bar, since one collision with a deer in October 2010 was enough for me.

I’m digging the dv8 one I got. You can see it on the camera, but with the kick out you can see under it and over it. Didn’t actually piss me off. It’s usable. If it becomes a issue I’ll move the camera onto the bull bar.

They make some quality parts. Fasteners suck sometimes, but never a issue with the parts.

That looks really cool. Did you get the light through them or was it aftermarket?

That’s the dv8 13” bar. It’s pretty damn good. Real tight pattern. Top beam is cut flat. I run it with my fog lights. They have the leds in top facing down. Pretty slick design.

This may be a stupid question, but I’ll ask it anyway. Is it compatible with the auxiliary switches?

Yes it is. It’s a 2 wire set up. Ground and positive. Comes with quick disconnect in the pig tail also. So after you wire it, you can still easily disconnect and remove the light if needed.
