Remove valuables such as cell phones, purses, backpacks and wallets from your vehicle
If you can't remove them, put them out of sight

Something I do is keep a small black blanket in the truck (technically, I've used a sweater). That way, if I have something I can't really hide in a trunk or glovebox, I put it in the floorboard or in back and cover it. Works really good with tint, somewhat good without.

@BAUS67 @BlueBronco Apparently me comparing Austin and nearby Georgetown (where I’m from) to modern Brevard (where I live now) and trAsheville NC was too “political” for one… also had a productive comment about taking matters into one’s own hands in there but don’t recall exactly what terms I used. Read this before it gets mod’d too probably.
Perhaps the part about comparing cities wasn’t relevant but the part about getting in trouble when stopping the poor “victim” who’s steeling your stuff was… that’s the only way you’ll keep them away. Otherwise fancy trinkets like locks and whatnot just show you have something worth steeling

I was surprised to see no wheel locks on my Bronco. I won't leave it parked outside. Agreed though you have to be pretty strong to lift a 35.... I've thought about just putting the tire in my garage and calling my wife if I got a flat, but having her lift it into the car might not be possible either.

Last night, some person decided that they needed the spare tire off my my 4 month old Wildtrak. My Wildtrak did not come with any wheel locks, and I didn't think anything about it.

Now I am needing a new rim, tire, tpms, etc., and some anger management suggestions.

No they don't come with one. I had the dealer install the Ford Perimeter alarm for like $250ish when they delivered my BB.
Saved me recently when some hater smashed my passenger side window and got scared off before making any further damage.
