Said goodbye to the Steelies today in favor of the RTR tech 6 wheels. I plan on keeping the Steelies for the winter. I wrapped them with 285/70/17s (33s)no concerns with rubbing.

the +30 offset on the RTR wheels gives a slightly more aggressive stance. Very happy with the look.

Cost:
Tires: $1350 on tire rack
Wheels: $1100
Mount, balance, new TPMS stems: $600
So all in $3k

SAS is an amazing deal, but if you dont like the SAS rims you would still replace them.
If you just want 35's then sas is the way to go, if you want a different look, something not many other will have then you do this. Rims are one of the most changed things on new cars.
At some point the SAS bead lock rims will have trim rings of different colors for replacements and I would want to see those.

The rtr rims look great, but I have gone with a 2 tone rim on my last few trucks. With so many rims to pick from it really is a personal choice.

SAS is a great deal. I just didn't want the 4.7 differential with the 32 inch tires for highway use and opted to have the 33.5 inch tires with a 4.27 differential as my off-road setup.

Since I went with a smaller off-road tire, it was less expensive than SAS by about $2.5k. Is a set of shocks/springs and a front locker worth $2.5k, ya definitely... Provided they are the gears that you want and the ultimate ride height you need. In my case, it was a wash.

I'm pleased with the tire clearance - looks like it could even fit 35s with minor fender trimming if any at all.

@BigBronco1 hope you had a great weekend with your rig! Can you give us another shot like this to compare the offset. Does the tread go past the flares, looks pretty flush?

This is zero offset 285s for comparison.
