Can products like this be used on the MIC top to make it black? Would it last or run?

I don't think it will work. Would be nice to get some of the discarded MIC 1.0's to try stuff out

Hard to say, but Ive used the restorer on greyed out black trim pieces and it works great. It might make it a richer color, maybe a shade darker, but it wont "turn it black".

I'd be happy with that! I'm hoping someone tries it and shares before I eventually get mine.
